Even as a full-time Pixel artist, I haven't tried too many of the pixel art tools out there on the market as some are not to user freindly, pricey and honestly not built for pixel art, looking at you Photoshop... but out of all of them. Aseprite has never faltered. I have 12.5K hours over the course of four years since I purchased the program and four years on, I will highly recommend this tool to anyone looking to try out pixel art to give Aseprite a go.
