Dark Souls is one of those games that tries to avoid the norms of the industry, and successfully does it. An incredible hard game for the newcomers, that makes you think before engaging, doing the same thing over and over again doesn't give you a different result, if you're dying a lot it's your fault. It's a game that takes time to learn how to play it, you explore and explore, try different weapons and sorceries and find your play style, and then you need to learn how to best use it against different types of foes.
An incredible experience, and one of my favourite games ever.

The gameplay is basic, you pick objects and look at them, some objects tell you more about the characters and that's how you progress the storyline. The short story is nothing special, but at the same time something new that we are not used to see in games. The graphics look really good, i love the textures. It's a new experience, they need to make this new type of game way more interactive and interesting (and no, i don't mean by adding guns), this is not a good game.
