Early Access Review
Teardown, for what it is in early access is actually really good.

While there are some minor performance issues (when large things collide with other large things) the game runs rather smoothly.

Gameplay focuses very heavily on planning what steps you take before finally enacting them and I find that this part is the most rewarding, as you can reap the fruits of your labour.

Each level is made of voxels (much smaller than what you'd expect to find in Minecraft) which allows for a much higher level of detail with specific objects, such as cranes and generators. I've had a lot of fun with it and can't wait for the "part two" update to the current storyline.

Well done, developers!

So Borderlands 3 is a considerable improvement to the previous instalments of the series, despite this however, there are clearly some things which need to be addressed.

The biggest issue I have with Borderlands 3 as a game is the DLCs, I don't have a problem with the quests, main stories or the items within them. However, I have an issue with the loot tables.

Despite Borderlands 3 already having a system in place where you CANNOT pick up equipment from DLCs you don't own, it stops them from dropping unless you're in the DLC they appear in. Personally, I think it should add any content from DLCs you own into the main Loot Tables.

Due to the fact that my favourite places to kill enemies (The Circles of Slaughter) don't drop any DLC-based equipment, even though I have both Season Passes.

This also extends to "Arms Race" which not only added a new area, but adds an additional skill tree for all the Vault Hunters. The only way you will find Class Mods which boost skills within those Skill Trees are by participating and subsequently surviving the Arms Race.

Original review:
Really enjoying this game, it reminds me a lot of Towns, but easier to understand.

The game is incredibly zen and you aren't forced to progress.

Happiness & Goals Overhaul Update
Prior to this update, at points I'd get stuck because I didn't have enough population to effectively make my production as good as it could have been, which was a little difficult.

Honestly, this update as well as the 'Crop Affinity' update are absolute game changers, and they're a welcome addition to the base game. Well done devs!

All I can say is Cube World started as a passion project and I bought it when it released on Steam (Despite already having a key for it outside of Steam) however with "Cube World Omega" now being worked on in secret for the last 5 years, the only thing I can real hope is that Wollay overwrites the Steam Version with it and updates the price to reflect the work being put into it.

In an article I read he said that calling it "Omega" might be a sore spot for people, if he knows that then he had better be prepared for the negative outcomes which will follow.

I dislike being kept in the dark with updates and instead of trying to own his mistakes, it seems he's just gone off to do something else for 5 years. I had honestly thought that the people behind Cube World died during Covid-19 due to the lack of updates, or transparency with Cube World and it's development.

Cheap and easy to use was able to make a world map in under 2 hours.

Only real issues I have with in its current state are:
Needs more options for labels (Size and colour)
Not enough variation in tiles.
