I am leaving the below as a reminder of what Song tried to pull.

This is a great game. Trust me, play it, it does not disappoint.

177 countries could purchase and play this game with no warning that they would be required to make a third party account to continue playing. Now, they do not have access to this game anymore because of a decision made by Sony to force a third party account connection. This is incredibly deceptive, and a very, very bad look for Sony, especially when other PlayStation games on PC don't require an account.

It's been a beta and a season, and there has been zero improvement on the game side of things. Initially it was a good game, the beta tests had smooth, great gameplay and gunplay, but with the official release, it tanked, hard. Desync is a constant issue, leading to shots not connecting, getting shot around corners, lag, and terrible gunplay. Crashes plague the game, whether that's campaign or multiplayer, happening at least once every 2 hours. There is no way to report cheaters in game, and the out of game process is convoluted and ridiculously hard. Staples of the game do not exist after nearly 6 years in development, including a decent game selection menu, forge, infection, etc. The shop is atrocious, a clear money grab with a battle pass that had over 20 levels of content stripped from it with no decrease in price or warning. 343 has consistently failed to listen to the player base, spending time and money on things that were never asked for and ultimately are hated. There were zero significant updates for 6 months of content, and we were drip fed things that should have already been included. All in all, it just feels bad. This isn't Halo, this is a buggy, unguided mess.

Hunt: Showdown is an incredibly rewarding PvE, PvP world that has plenty of variety between each and every match. With it's Tarkovish, perma death feel where one shot can end your characters chances of survival, it is a great blend of a shooter-stealth game that requires a tactical, careful approach...or terrify everyone around you by going guns blazing and confusing the veterans of the game. Either way, you can be a brand new player and feel like you are on the same level as a veteran with the way levels and skills are done, and it is always great to play.

I was a little worried about buying this game, but it was on sale and I thought I would give it a try. I am by no means disappointed. The game provides an authentic, easy to learn but hard to master golfing experience, giving the player a lot more control than I expected over ball flight, spin, shot type, and club selection than any other golf game I have played. As a golfer, I have always craved a game that can really portray just how much your shot type and spin can affect a ball's flight, and this game does just that. I do not understand all of the negative reviews, and I feel they stem from the fact that they did not take enough time to truly enjoy and learn the game.

I started out my first round with an under par score over 18, and decided to try the PGA tour option on medium. I completely bombed the first time I tried to play it, but I learned quickly. Next try, top 25. Moved up to the next tour and again, had a bad round, but the next few placed me again in the top 25 and I progressed to the next tour. It is important to note that this is a simulation of what the tours are like, so you don't have to win every round to progress. You can start out slow, learn, develop your shots and playmaking, until you can consistently shoot under par.

The controls are super simple and easy to understand, especially if you pay attention during the four or so short tutorials at the beginning. But its so simple that it is deceptively hard to master. Your timing has to be spot on to guarantee your shot, and a slight waver as you push your mouse/joystick back and forth could result in a bad shot. That's golf, and I love it. Precision is key, and the game very clearly portrays that.

Overall, a fun game, and I feel there is so much more for me to explore. No bugs, smooth gameplay, and a round lasts about 20-30 minutes. So enjoy this golf game, I recommend it for both those with no knowledge of golf and those who have played for years.
