The best Total War I have ever played. My opinion might be a little affected by the fact that I always liked Warhammer universe, but this game stands on its own without it. This is first Total War in fantasy world what means that there are no longer historical limitations in faction rosters. The variety this game brings to every faction is enormous. Not only you can play as many different races but in historical setting you wouldn't have flying units, huge monsters, powerful mages and so on. No other Total War has so much content and there's more and more to come.

Siege battles suck tho.

Really good boss fighting game with incredible soundtrack, interesting story and dynamic combat that is combination of bullet hell and sword fighting. It's really short as in my first try I finished it in like 5-6 hours, but it's worth it's price. For me story and very unique in-game characters were very inspirational.

I have never played Okami before on any console so that's was my first experience with this game. I bought it shortly after release at full price and I regret nothing. It's one of the best games I have ever played.

The character we are getting into is Okami Amaterasu - Shinto sun goddess in form of a wolf. With our little follower Issun who usually speaks in our name (fortunately or NOT) we are trying to restore all the powers which Amaterasu lost in her 100 year sleep to save Nippon from evil. The story gets better with every chapter and the last ones really got me. Game took me over 50 hours to finish with all achievements so without them I believe it should take less than 40 hours.

The music is very immersive and fits events and game climate perfectly (well... what music you would use in game set in feudal Japan other than one inspired by traditional Japanese music). The unique graphics of Okami are just beautiful and with this HD remaster it will take long for it to age. The downfall of it is 30 fps cap due to console port.

And about the port... It's really well made in my opinion. It bothers me that I couldn't personalize controls but default ones aren't that bad. I played on keyboard and mouse which I recommend. I played a moment on pad and as moving around the map and fighting felt better, there is a drawing mechanic in this game which require mouse precision and you will use it more and more often further in the game. Drawing with pad really slows the tempo of the gameplay.

And most importantly...
You play as a wolf and people call you doggie and wolfie and running animation is so beautiful! You can dig holes and you have dedicated button for barking and playing this game just filled me with joy doing even the simplest things.
