The base idea of the game is great. The combat system is very smooth and works well. The issue is that at the moment it has less content than the first game had which was made 12 years ago if i'm not mistaken, it becomes boring fast as it is not what it advertises as a sandbox YET. Yes you can choose to be a merchant travelling from city to city buying and selling goods to turn a profit, but inevitably you will have to build up an army and end up doing the exact same thing as in any other playthrough. There is not really any other valid options other than Merchant or just creating the biggest strongest army and trying to take cities and then getting constantly bombarded by armies of 800+ men. The quests are boring and repetitive and don't use the ITS A SANDBOX excuse because that should be even more of a reason to add more variety in the quests. i don't want to be a mercenary helping clear villagers of bandits or helping find spies or escorting a caravan half way around the map with no "accompany" button like there was in Warband. The game overall is fun but it is very lacking at the moment, for now i would recommend buying Warband as that is a full game and come back and see how this is in a years time. The people defending this game like their life depends on it need to open their eyes because its a game that was being developed for 8 years (which i understand not all of that was full force) but it feels like it was made in under 6 months.

Long story short, Fun but lacking, needs more content. Buy Warband for now and come back and buy this once it has had some more work. $60 for this is disappointing it should be $30. And to all of you defending it so hard. the point of early access is so we can tell them what is wrong so they can improve.

HOI with swords and gods! Good Game

This game is brutal as ♥♥♥♥ but extremely fun!

10/10 If you are looking for a game that takes 5 minutes to cross the field!

Its literal trash. Waste of a dollar.

It has just come to my attention that everyone lately has been absolutely ripping the living daylights out of this game in the reviews. The most common reason is that the game is optimized quite poorly yet i beg to differ. My computer is on the edge of 6 years old and i can still run this game from low to high settings IF and thats a big if, you actually configure them properly. Something you also have to take into mind is that it is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ breathtakingly large map with hundreds of buildings, vehicles and players running around that you have to render, so yes that means you may have a 3 second frame dropp after going over a big hill because you need to render something. I run the game smoothly locked at 35fps and the most i drop to is 15 which i agree is absolutely ♥♥♥♥. Now we also have lots of problems with the so called "AIDS servers" apparently. I also seem to find that 90% of the time they are okay for me but i am on the oceana servers and dont know what the others are like. but do take into mind that millions of people are playing these servers all at the same time. The only time i find the server starts to lag is when the people in other countrys join in and we have the asians or americans kindly donating their ping to the server. But lets talk gameplay, They absolutely hit the nail on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head with their style of battle royal, bringing in the old feeling that we used to get playing arena in Arma 2. YES. The game will get repeditive if you keep dropping in bad loot areas but i find for me that the best way to keep on your toes is to go duo and drop at exetremely populated areas every single time. This way we either get absolutely ripped in the arse in the first few minutes and can go start again or we absolutely destroy and then go forth with the game, by using this strategy we are also constantly gaining new fighting experience and we are just getting better as our hours climb.

So Overall This Is A really fun game if you have 2-4 of you and you keep going for the popular drops to keep yourself entertained. I am in australia so our servers here are surprisingly good and the game runs somewhat okay on my 6 year old computer. I highly recommend you and a few mates give this game a go.

This game is quite something.
Awakens on a beach and slowly becomes ruler of an entire island.
I could see my self and millions of other people investing hundreds apon hundreds of hours into this game, though unfortunetly you literally require a pc from nasa that has been struck by a god to actually be able to run this game at higher than 30fps even on medium setings, currently the developers stand by they will properly optimize the game once they get the base down. But this is an issue due to the fact that they release 600mb updates basically every second day adding more and more crap which is just making the game even ore impossible to run. I highly recomend buying the game now because when they do eventually optimize the living daylights out of this game it will likely fly up in price.
Overall its a really fun and addictive game. If you have a computer capable of making the game not look like complete and utter AIDS.

Great and very strange game but i really enjoyed the concept of and old school game dev. I recommend this game for anyone thats bored and can spare the five minutes to download! Overall Good game
