To start; the comments mentioning predatory purchases etc are complete and utter liars. There is basically nothing you can actually buy in the game currently even. There's only a few skins in the premium battlepass (which is pretty cheap and refunds 45% of the price at the end).

No heroes and no weapons are purchasable with real money.

The game is fun, gunplay is pretty good, sadly few maps at the moment which is understandable for early access.
For the price it's an easy recommend.

Sincerely one of the best experiences in a game to date, simply cannot wait for subsequent episodes!

That said, there ARE some nitpicking to be done, such as controlschemes being a bit lacking on a controller and even so you will have a better time with a controller than mouse and keyboard. When you get used to the slightly clunky rythm of the controls the game is top notch though.
