Fun so fast. I haven't hit a long server queue. If you do, remember it a new game. It's annoying, it's nothing to freak out about.

Look, it's arguably the best Borderlands game so far. The story is great, the voice acting is top notch, and the game play is (mostly) smooth. Without a doubt the antagonist is one of the great, up there with GLaDOS. I've played through this game at least twice on different systems and keep coming back for more.

Yes, another survival crafting game. The walkers are nice and generally don't clip to badly. The crafting system needs some work, but it's been getting better. The combat is (almost) entirely melee and they did a decent job of keeping it interesting, though there are several glitches. This is most notable with AIs. Playing solo/duo is possible, but like every game of this genre groups work best. A good compromise is to ally yourself with one of the large clans.

Game is still in "pre-alpha", whatever the hell that means these days, and might become decent if it survives until "alpha" stage.

Wonderful characters. Excellent balance. Amusing taunts and cosmetics. Great player base.

And bots. Lots and Lots and Lots of bots. Unfortunately, unless you're interested in playing the "Kick a bot" mini-game inside TF2 your only choice is community (ie private) servers. Even then, there's no reason Bots can't join those since it then becomes the task of the server owner to fill the anti-cheat role.

Right now, even as I continue to play, I cannot recommend this to anyone else. I'm just a masochist.

I enjoy this game. Some of the things that I like is the heavier PvE element. The zombies, particularly at night, are much more dangerous than most games. This shifts it from a "survival game that has zombies" (like some games that are "survival games with swords" or "survival games wtih radiation") to a "Zombie Survival" Game. Other players might be dangerous, but two zombies under a full moon are downright deadly.

That said, the engine needs work. Been glitched to death a few times and even fallen though the bottom of the world once. Still... it's alpha, right?
