Bought on sale in A11 for $9.95. 4949.2 hours later and still coming back. Is gud.

modders, cheaters, hackers, script kiddies... whatever you wanna call them, GTAV online has them.

I really wanted to like this game, I truly did. I read the reviews about how great it was to have a 'non toxic' community working together for a 'common goal' and bought into it hook, line and sinker. I watched tutorial videos on YouTube so I wouldn't just jump into the game knowing absolutly nothing, I logged in and was ready to be wowed.

The truth:

I know it's alpha but the game play is still to clunky to be worth $20 bucks. $8 bucks max at this time. The game does ALOT of things but it doesn't seem to do any one thing well. As far as the 'non toxic' community, I was NEVER killed by the enemy, however I was TK'd 6 times in 2 hours with resources that I had worked for being stolen by teammates as I am trying to refine them into building mats or deliver gas to friendlies well behind enemy lines in our own base.

I realize this is par for the course and going to happen in most mmo online games but the reviews I was reading seemed to promise something different and the game could not deliver. So if you are buying it for the 'non toxic' community working together you are likely to be disappointed as I was.

Let me say first that it sucks so many people are having trouble to start out. Sorry so many people are having trouble. That being said, here is my review.

My PC Stats:

Intel Core i3-2130 CPU 3,4 GHZ
6 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series

So you can see, I DO NOT have a high powered system... it gets me by. That being said, I preordered the game, d/l in about 12 mins and have played for 7 hours. It appears to be hit and miss with the issues for others.

As far as game play, I Like it enough to play it for the last 7 hours. The animals I have run into are cool... the planets I have seen are so HUGE it would take days... maybe weeks to fully explore just one. I can't wait to get back to playing so I'm keeping this short.

At this time I give it a solid 7 out of 10... hope with more game play it goes up from there.

UPDATE:

Upgraded to 16 GB DDR3 RAM and the game is running like a champ.
