Bad graphics. Bad keyboard game-play. Near impossible. Dont buy this game if you have a keyboard

Game is very basic. Not alot of things to do. Very minimal

Nice game to drive around in for a while. But it gets boring after a while

Alright game. Its not bad. Only problem i see is that the maps are very underdeveloped.
Roads are for instance mostly High-Ways and you dont have inner-city maps that are huge like in real life
with the buildings and traffic

Rotterdam is nothing but a highway with 1-2 Warehouses. That's about it
Same goes for Amsterdam and the other cities. Afcourse Germany looks a little more developed
but it lacks alot.

If you buy this game. You will need to like to drive on the highway. Cause there are no cities
it is quite boring adventually. But you can add mods for cars and more. But they cost in-game $$$ that you will need to earn.

i Really regret buying this game :(

44 minutes played. Tutorial completed wich was very short. Did not really learn anything.

I get on the map and all i do is what the tutorial told me to do. Then i step outside and sneak walk my way.
but the combat is really bad. You get swarmed by 20 zombies and your weapons are useless.

The Survival part seems to not exist. Your not really surviving. I'm a professional Bushcrafter / Prepper in real life. I've been doing this for almost 25 years. 44 Minutes in-game i did not have any survival-experience neither apocalypse experience besides the zombies. From Youtube it all looks nice and pretty but once your playing its really bad. I died 4 times already. With 1 character. All you really do is walk around. Loot stuff. And that's about it. But you can go build. But that needs alot of time. You die you loose all. No way to save-game
you can only save your character. Wich i find sad. Cause it removes you from learning more. Now if they added a hardcore mode where your character does not spawn-back after death. That would be great.
But for people who are looking to learn alot and not have to start at 0 everytime cause they dont know how controls work even with the crappy tutorial. This is really bad

I think this game might be good if you play it for atleast 100 hours just to learn the basic-overlays and stuff
but No-Way you can learn this game in under 2 hours. Even the tutorial is worthless. But i think that's what the devs want so you cannot refund the game by steam-policy cause that's 2 hours.

So they are making it hard for players to refund the game or impossible. Even if the game is bad in their eyes

i See many mods in Workshop. Wich i like alot. But i have my doubts. Do they really improve the game?
why cant i pick-up fire-wood from the ground? and make a fire? I have to specially follow a weird pattern to do something like that. In real life you grab it. And you get to work.

I like the begin-menu of the game and character selection. But it seems to lack actual purpose.
Scout-Trait for example. As a real-life scout i would expect massive wilderness advantages. All you get is points that make you a little faster in other stuff.

Hiker-Trait. As someone who did indeed hike alot in his life i find it weird it has little benefit. Hiking is not easy. Everything the game gives you is minimal. Your better off being unemployed it seems unless you dont like learning.

This game is in Early-Acces. Its almost 13-14 years old! and still in Early-Acces. Barely any updates. The last update took them 3 years and it was minor. Just stolen workshop content added to the base-game. I would recommend a better tutorial and not a throw into the game mentality.
you can only refund under 2 hours of playtime. Make those 2 hours a extreme learning curve. And add actual benefit early into the game.

Walking around with basic-stuff you cant even use cause the game wont let you. It seems to pro-long the hate towards this game the longer you play.

End of story: Play this game either with friends. Online. Or be someone with No-Life and enjoy a 100 hour tutorial.

But I may update this review in the Future. I've paid 19.50 for this game wich is alot of money if you think about it. For a game that is very old and still lacks a tutorial.

But i think they did this Apurpose so you cannot refund and they keep all your hard earned money.
They dont update anything. The last update they did was litterly just workshop content added to the main game made by a player who is not even being paid to mod this game. They just steal the workshop content and call it a made-update really. Pretty sad.

My advice: Wait for a Big Steam-Sale and dont pay full-price for this game. The devs are clearly lazy to keep updating. Seems like the people who update this game are in Normal players in Workshop who are actually making useful updates. The devs sit and collect $$$. While players do their work.
