In case anyone is wondering what the story behind all the reviews for this game are:

It was a passion project put together by a VTuber for her birthday, then surprise released as a free game.

For an unbiased game review:

PROS

• It's a great fun little platformer with some RPG elements (equipment crafting, material farming, etc)
  
• It has a good amount of exploration elements and secrets, with metroidvania-like open maps.
  
• The movement itself is really good, it has a momentum based movement system that lets you pull off some really sweet stuff.
  
• Fishing mini-game and jump puzzle in the home base.
  
• Several fun boss fights with some challenging patterns, especially in later phases.
  
• Hilarious death system where every life is a named character, and when you die their body stays there for the rest of the level.
  
• Great visuals and music.
  
• It's free!

CONS

• A few map designs that have spots that you can't go back from unless you enter the level again, however entering and exiting levels is VERY fast.
  
• It's a little short! Fully understandable for a free game, but I would like to play even more.
  
• Because of how short it is, it felt like I didn't get to explore some of the equipment.

Overall definitely a game I would have paid for as a fan of platformers and Metroidvanias, and 1000% worth checking out if you are as well.

Great 3D platformer Metroidvania. It says I have 3 hours played, but I believe the full game took 4 hours for me. I think I may have missed some secrets or abilities, so I may play through again or re-explore.

Feels good to move around which is the most important thing for a game like this. Also soundtrack is a banger. Very much worth it if you're a fan of 3D Platformers and/or Metroidvanias.

Unbelievably good program. It's one of the best programs I've ever used, not even within the pixel art/art space, but just in general.

It gets rid of everything unnecessary and does everything you need for pixel art perfectly.

Seriously thank you to the devs, it's made my journey learning Pixel Art 100x easier (and more fun since I don't feel like I'm fighting the program)
