I glitched past an invisible wall to be met with a falling death loop that I couldn't get out of. 10/10 was fun to break

Good prototype for a game. If they expanded it into something more and continued to work on it, I'd definitely play a more refined, fuller game.

Interesting experience. Got the word "Wishing"

If you took it at face value you'd be better off going forward, but lets just say it is what it is and it was what it was.

This started as a slow burn, but I enjoyed the ride of picking between 3 things and I feel like outside of the final day you don't get a confirmation before you press on something and it ends the game. was not going to pick what I did, but I was exploring and pressed it, oops everything felt pretty good decision-wise. I neglected the child because children are wrong. It was very funny. Good game, would play a sequel like it.

This is a very mixed bag for me. It is hard for me to play a puzzle-platformer and not compare it to the enjoyment I had of Portal and want more of that. I did not complete this game. I got all the colors unlocked and quit climbing the mountain because I just was not having fun anymore.

First half of the game? I had a lot of fun, but as you advance it stops becoming about any kind of puzzle complexity and more about the execution of said level. I do not think for ME it is fun to die x20 in a session. I HATE redoing sections I already did correctly. It is a big pet peeve I have always had in gaming for 2 decades. What happens is I lose patience, I get more annoyed and the game becomes way less fun. I tried to mitigate this by stopping. I made it to where I did in 7 play sessions.

6 times I stopped to relax and get my head back on straight over the course of 5 days, but as the game progressed I just felt like my sessions was more about trying to make it to the end (and a bad sense of how much I had left) and not on having any actual fun because as you progress I just find that more and more levels are obnoxious and not really fun. The puzzle solution is simple, but unless you are trying hard (I do not and will not) you die a lot trying to complete something you know the solution of.

If you got this game for free, you should consider trying it and maybe you'll have a better time than I did. I think this game is good enough to get a lot of good reviews, but if you look at global achievements? I think more people silently agree with me than the reviews show. For reference over 80% of all players got the first color and used it. 21.5% unlock all colors, but only 12.3% actually beat the game. Where I quit is where 9% of total players also quit. Just something to think about.

This game is one or two MINOR tweaks from being an absolutely amazing time, but the combination of handicaps in this game against you just makes it feel unbalanced and unfun for ME. Your only attack being in MY opinion bad makes the whole game not feel great to begin with. The fact you have to charge your shot everytime, your character is an absolute moron and only has 1 arrow so you have to either run/roll to your 1 arrow everytime you shoot the damn thing or call it slowly and die waiting. I'm not saying make the game super easy, just balance 1 of the few things that make it for me unbearable to play.

Either slow enemies by like 1/6th (not my preferred fix), have more than 1 arrow, have the arrow come back immediately OR not require super precise shooting with a half second to look, aim and shoot (half second combined) without a proper precise tool. This is a game that feels like it becomes much easier if you can aim with a mouse and actually hit what you are trying to instead of going for the closest general area and having to die 12 times because the shot barely missed.

This game annoys me a lot because I know if you adjusted like one thing in a more balanced way I'd LOVE it, but as is. I can't play it.

Really enjoyable visual novel. Gave me things to think about which I consider a good thing for any book I read.

Good sequel, a couple of the chapters felt like they were kinda going long, but I had an overall really good time. If you enjoyed the first game and you have a couple hours to spare? This isn't the worst way to spend $5

I bought this to try before playing Dead Rising 2 which I already owned.

Save system was pretty bad, but I overall felt excited to try Dead Rising 2. So while I can't personally recommend Dead Rising 1, it did make me see the potential and see a good enough concept to make me excited to try the sequel that hopefully irons out a few of the weak spots for me.
