It's a fun but it's a bugfest.

In my playthrough I got a couple of crashes but nothing game breaking, what ultimately made me quit this game was when one of my quick saves got a bug (client synchronizing freeze) basically when you try load your quicksave it never loads and it gets stuck on client synchronizing so I lost a couple of hours of progress.

If you are going to buy this game I suggest you do it on GOG, some bugs maybe fixed there, like any old games in new machines.

Also make a lot of manual saves and not quick saves so you can avoid what happen to me.

I traded some broken scissors and and fishing hooks for a toast with a kid.

I have no idea why he wanted all those sharp objects but I have a toast now.

I played this game back in the closed beta, it was fun at first but it quickly got old, this game has some problems but my number one complaint, is the complete absence of any in game community or communication.
This can easily put off any new players or otherwise, in dominion matches there zero communication for team play, other than trying to start messaging people mid game? It's impossible but surely not convenient, the game it self doesn't help in that regard for newer players don't likely know that the default voice chat is switched to off.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that in game communication would had help this game a lot besides the salt and rage in forms of "WOW!" "WOW!" "THANKS!" and such, if you don't play with friends it gets tiresome really quickly.

A huge world to explore, lots of quests and decisions, tons of items and great replay value are reason enough to pick up this fine roleplaying sequel. Very few changes appeared since Fallout 3 but a strong storyline and partial improvements make New Vegas great to play. Take it as an alternative to Fallout 3 and you won't be disappointed.
