I tried it, can't get on with the new always running. Went back to the old one and enjoyed that way more. Just not for me.

The game has problems, but you could just about live with them. Latest update to matchmaking now makes it both unplayable and shows that the devs won't even fix the most basic of bugs/problems so game will just get worse from here. If you want to buy it you're a year late to get value

Honestly one of the greatest strategy games I've ever played. While the expansions are a little tiresome financially, they do usually add a significant amount of game content and make the game something new all over again.
