You must have played the previous games for this game to hit you the right way. I've played through all the Yakuzas so far. I'm pretty picky about games I write reviews for. They have to strike my fancy in a very specific way. I reviewed Yakuza Kiwami, Kiwami 4 and Like a Dragon negatively for the way the story played out. In my opinion, Yakuza games often suffer from "we need to finish this" syndrome, where the story accelerates at an unsustainable pace and you have some weird mechanic that trumps all the effort you put. I don't have infinite time, so I try to maximise my efficiency. That usually means grinding out the money-making minigames as fast as possible, which is a chore.

The Man Who Erased His Name is perfect. The soundtrack is the best out of all the games. The graphics are the best out of all the games. The game is optimised so much that I've run the entire thing on 144 fps, 2k ultra, while streaming. The story is absolutely amazing, so much so that I even shed a tear (or two) at the end of the game, although I won't spoil you the reason. There is no grinding that is no rewarding. They took all the complaints from the last few games and simply avoided adding the problematic components of the previous games. Beautiful game, whole way through.

The two people who watched this game with me agree, this was the best game out of all the games, from every aspect.

Was going to rate this up, but this is just another Yakuza game ruined by a boss. I play the game for the story and this broke the pace so hard: spent 25 minutes fighting some dude (has stupid amounts of health and attacks four times per turn) only for it to have an instakill move that dropped Ichiban instantly for no reason.

Fantastic game, however, forcing me or anyone to link their account to PSN when Sony has been the victim of many security breaches in the last decade is a big no no 🤡🤡 IS WHAT I WOULD'VE SAID IF THEY HADN'T CHANGED THEIR MIND

Boring as all hell. Characters are great, story is alright. The only redeeming factor for this game is that it's not the 5th, which I can only assume will be worst since same engine, same characters, so most likely same gameplay. Last boss fight (You fight as each character against one enemy) is so bad. It's rare you see this but the music is underwhelming, and I feel like it plays a huge part when it comes to immersion. When playing as Tanimura, the cop, you get a repeat of Yakuza (1)'s Jingu boss fight: one enemy with a gun and some melee dudes. Wouldn't be surprised if you told me it was the same guy who designed them, and he just so happened to be inbred.).

Not a very fun experience at all, not worth 20.79$ at least. Game is a bit clunky, managed to kill me 8 times in a row by respawning me right next to a bunch of enemies on an island that had my body on it, so I just kept dying trying to get my stuff back. Was too far away from the other islands to not get eaten by sharks, so after the first death, the game essentially became unplayable.

Think the devs mispelled 'comedy' into 'horror'. Yea sure, alone it can be quite spooky. It's also hilarious with friends.

CS:GO Review
As someone who has done almost all ranks except Supreme and Global, I do not recommend anyone play this game. The matchmaking is atrocious at best and the teammates you get can vary from being your best friends to being complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The report system does nothing at all.

It used to be really fun as a 5man, but I'm not sure this is still the case.

I can't recommend it in it's current state, but I have done my part and sent many tickets to try and help steer the game in the right direction.

The UI is fantastic, the ambiance is also calm (but it's still a bit much for me). On a i9-9900k, RX 7900 XTX, relatively poor performance. It's lacking too many features and has a few bugs. Like some other reviewer said, it'll most certainly be in Early Access for a long time, so maybe wait for more updates to come out, as I'm sure there will be.

I don't get how people are upvoting this. It's a buggy mess (quite funny), the story is super contrived and in my opinion cringe. I'm almost done with it and I'll most certainly finish it, but it's a bit disappointing. Better coop would've made this much better.
