Very fun with friends, but servers are dead

Very fun and the game mechanics are pretty origional, though i dont think i would have payed full price as the game isnt very long and isnt too hard

Best Survival building game ive played,If your thinking about minecraft forget it this game has so much more replayabillity offering countless hours of fun,its also about 10 bucks cheaper,I highly reccomend it,Of course this game does have its cons,For example Frost wave and pumpkin wave are very hard to survive on singleplayer,I highly reccomend multiplayer with trusted freinds but make sure YOU PUT ALL YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS IN A SAFE OR PIGGY BANK even the most trustworthy of freinds can be greedy

game assumes you have a good pc,looks fun but unlesss you have a desktop or a gaming laptop forget playing it,your render quality is limited to Normal High And Extreme. no Low for lowend pc's.

i understood what they were going for,Saying the military somhow created nihilith and that andrew winner obtained the 'sample' that started it all....but then why do you kill nihilith,why are there vortigaunts,and why is he basicaly a barnicle capibal of flight? ;-;

Dev ruined the game. used to be a fun time waster but even after all these years playing with a friend is an absolute chore unless you no life this gme to the point you know the layout of every map because to view the map you have to physically hunt one down and you spawn in a random location every time you die which happens often due to the completely unfair zombie designs. From crawling zonbies that move faster than you (that melee hits seem to only register on half the time) to INVISIBLE ZOMBIES THAT MOVE FASTER THAN THE PLAYER AND ARE TANKIER THAN REGULAR ZOMBIES. i dont know how they expect a new player to get into this with even remotely any enthusiasm, its a chore beyond all comprehension and getting a gun is a joke (the game is practically unplayable without raiding a town for supplies which can be all but impossible, and if your buddy or you die you get sent to the middle of nowhere and even if you found a map the game takes it from you without an option to keep inventoy or any way shape or form to reliably find your friend without getting mauled by zombies or beyond bored wandering the woods.

I bought the gold edition when this game came out, and i would refund it if i could as this game dev is beyond incompitent when it comes to game balance or knowing what is fun, especially in a multiplayer setting, Healing is a chore, crafting is a chore, fighting is a chore and 90% of the time will end with you dying due to things completely out of your control.


Game used to be fun, this review used to be a positive joke review even, but i can no longer pretend this is a good game, i would rather go back to the devs previous development platform (roblox) and play Apocalypse Rising, which is an atrocious game aswel, but atleast it was playable, unlike this dungheap of a "game"

Also the music in the trailers sound like darude-sandstorm at some parts

by far my favorite addition to the half-life series
