Will this ever get a definitive Edition?

This is game is a masterpiece, simple as that.

I remember playing it on my old laptop as well as the first stronghold. AND I LOVED IT.
And sadly it runs better on my old laptop than here in the steam edition. At least for me the game keeps crashing in the steam edition and the desktop keeps glitching into my game it is sadly very annoying.

That though didn't stop me from playing this at least a bit on steam.
Because the game is that good.


The satisfying base building with the incredible charm of stronghold combined is just truly an experience that everyone should have made back then when we were still young.

But let's start from the beginning.
In Stronghold you have to beat your enemies by building a functioning society inside your little county.
You have to produce enough Food to feed your citizens but also produce enough weapons and other goods to fight war. But for war you need money. Where do you get money? From the Tax Payers of course!
Raise Taxes, but you still need to keep them happy by giving extra food rations, Religion, a good-looking Town AND THE BEST OF COURSE.... Alcohol. Yes alcohol is pretty busted in this game. Maybe the devs wanted to tell us something....

Speaking of the base building:
All the People are clickable and tell you with amazing hilarious voice acting their desires and mood.
Everything is beautifully animated, and you can just enjoy your town working in peace....

Wait what's that? Why is my town burning?!
Oh, yeah there's also a tiny aspect called WAR in this game.
There are a lot of units in this game. And every single unit has a purpose. Another big rock paper scissors game.
But what makes Stronghold so special, is that you can actually use real siege tactics, because you can build really working defences. It amazes me how modern games can't even implement stuff like that in their games. It is pathetic.

But this is all the stuff that was in older Strongholds... What makes this one so special?
Well dear Reader it is because of the Setting and the new Improvements and Implementations.
The new Arabian Characters are all amazing. Funny, charming and just full of charisma. They aren't as iconic as Wolf or the Rat, but they still are top tier.
But the best thing for me is the Music. It is just magical listening to the soundtrack while playing in the middle eastern desert.

Stronghold Crusader is the best Stronghold Game ever made.
I hope you all had the same experience as me back in the days.

I mean what do you expect from this?
This is a mobile flash game or at least it plays like one.
The map looks made from a 9-year-old, I bet I could draw it better.

There are like 0 clickable things other than the spiders. But even that doesn't work good.
Clicking the spiders is painful, because the hitboxes for them are very small/buggy.

And on topic of clickables.
Why can't you click on anything else? Like clicking on the chair to make it swing, or closing the drain or ANYTHING. There is 0 charm to this clicking game.

Negatives:
-It has mobile controls.
-The map is poorly made
-the music kinda sucks
-nothing to do
-very easy
-short
-nothing special
-no fun included

Positives
-easy 100% achievement completion available

This is an example of an great DLC.
A big ammount of content which adds alot to the base game and is reasonable priced.
This is getting rare these days.

This is a neat little Story Game where from a bunch of chooseable heroes you have to save the Princesses.
There are multiple combos with each heros which differ in their output. For example, Lighting Charge for the Red Knight. But you can also level up each hero a lot and become much stronger with higher stats and new abilities.
You can unlock a total of 31 Heroes which is just insane, and it would take a LONG time to unlock and max out them all.

But what do you even have to do in order to save the princesses?
Well you have to defeat a lot of enemies in different Areas which all lead to a Major Boss at the end. All the Bosses differ in their abilities and size. The Game is very cartoony which leads to many "funny" jokes. Well they are defenetly over the top.

This isn't a Game meant to be taken Serious. It is for Entertainment and since there's an awesome Coop Mode. You will surely be pleased playing it with a friend or more.

This game has been recommended by Youtube.
Its a little funny Game which can make you a little bit angry if you try to complete the speedrun achievements

Hilarious to lure the Killer onto your Teammates while they fix the Generator!
Pretty annoying tho that basically everything is cencored in the dbd endgame chat

but then you must carry 20 bags....
