Gameplay is unchanged over the last few years. This year introduces a new bug for Franchise players, rendering your franchise unplayable after a few seasons due to lack of coordinators to hire.

Do not recommend for Franchise players.

As a huge football fan, I'm always looking for new indie games that aren't madden, but scratch the same itch. My early impressions is that this will soon become the best indie football game. It's obviously being developed with care and attention to detail.

The only cons in the short time I've played is the camera. The camera is so zoomed in during plays that you can't see the receivers downfield. makes it tough to complete passes more than a few yards, and even tougher to play DB.

I think wider, and more variety of camera angles would be a huge difference maker (like a TSB broadcast camera).

Even though I'm a football fan, I bought this game to support an indie developer. Yes this game lacks the fit and finish of its big budget counterpart, but the gameplay feels good, and will be great with more improvement. Buy this game and support a well made, moddable representation of American Football on PC.
