This DLC has been very disappointing sadly. I was hoping this dlc would end up like Survivors of the Void, their other DLC, but Gearbox has ruined yet another amazing potential dlc.

The content is really inconsistent, and this is by far the buggiest update/patch that Gearbox has released. You can also tell the lack of effort put in with some of the characters they added, especially the secret one you get from beating the new boss.

If the patch ever becomes more polished, as well as if some balance is made for some of the new items, I might change this review to a positive in the future. But for now, this is not worth the $15 they're asking for.

This game is pretty good overall, but if you were a fan of DD1 and hoped DD2 would be like it, you'll be in for a world of disappointment.

It is a rogue-like that doesn't feel like a rogue-like. It a successor to DD1 that doesn't feel like a successor to DD1. It has its flaws, yet I would say that the game is still good if you go in understanding it will not be like DD1, and it will not be like other rogue-likes you've played, such as Slay the Spire, Binding of Isaac, Hades, Dead Cells, etc.

I can still recommend the game because Red Hook put a LOT of support into this game, and even if its not like the original Darkest Dungeon, and even if the rogue-like aspects of this game aren't the greatest. I feel the art, music, presentation and overall style the game has makes up for it.

This game is a bit easy for the "classic jrpg" that you'd expect, but overall a really good game Id recommend to anyone who enjoys JRPGs.

10/10 would watch my friend get impacted by a molotov again.
