Green Devil

I'm an avid World War Two history buff. I have been to Normandy, France, Arnhem and Bastonge in Belgium and Kursk, Russia, which was an all-night, 8-hour train ride out of Moscow. I spent 26 years in the U. S. military, first as an enlisted Marine, then I flew helicopters (the UH-1H "Huey") with the 2d Armored Division at Ft Hood, Texas, as an Army Warrant Officer; and after finishing my college degree while on active duty at Ft Hood, I became a Naval Aviator, flying various airplanes from the TA-4J "Skyhawk" to the P-3C "Orion". I am a Boeing 757/767 Captain for United Airlines based out of SFO.

My hobbies include computers, music--I have hundreds and hundreds of vinyl records and thousands of "hi-rez" (high resolution, AIFF files) digital songs on my computer), hiking, working out at the gym, riding high-performance motorcycles and cars (I have a Ducati, a Yamaha R1, and a C6 Corvette), and building plastic models. I built my first model airplane when I was 5 years old. I build mostly WW2 armor now and have over 1,000 models in all scales (1/72, 1/48 and 1/35th scales). I also collect GI Joes and have been collecting them since the 1980's

I am an American but I'm married to a Russian (she was born and raised in Moscow), hence the Profile Name "Urrahhhh", in honor of her. Recently I changed my Profile Name to "Green Devil", which the Americans called the German Fallschirmjaeger paratroopers, because I use them all the time now in COH2. We now have a son, who is 1 year old and we moved to a suburb of San Diego, California, to a town called Oceanside, which is right next to Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

Finally, when I am at home, I let my computer and COH2 run continuously. So, although it may look like I have thousands of hours playing COH2, I really don't have that many hours--I just like having COH2 "ready to go" so when I feel like playing, I can. Also, I often play 500 "cap" annilhilation games by myself against the AI, so I will pause it and come back to it later in the day or even the next day, with my computer running continuously.
