I want to start by saying this game is VERY fun. When it works, it's a really nice game play loop and it's very satisfying to see a well-crafted building come together.

I honestly can't bring myself to give it a thumbs up for two main reasons which both spawn from the same issue: Complete lack of settings. There is no setting for your mouse sensitivity, and (while you can change the key binds of objects you build) there is no way to remap the main key binds (map, exit vehicle, etc.). While the game is technically controller compatible, anything more than 2 or 3 devices and you run out of key binds you can use without extra fingers, and using KB+mouse means you better be ready to tweak your DPI (this one might be pedantic but it's 2025, every game has mouse sensitivity and I can't be bothered to have a separate DPI setting for a single game). It seems insane to me that such an otherwise well polished game seems to have such a simple feature missing.

Flashbulb: I genuinely look forward to returning to this game if these two problems are addressed. Until then, I've spent too long trying to fight the controls more than the Botnaks to keep playing.

Honestly one of the most fun co-op games around. Hilarity is insured by making it very, very easy to team-kill your friends (which you can always say was an accident. A shining example of a good monetization system: While you can certainly spend real money to expedite progress, the premium currency is earn-able at a generous enough rate that it's not excruciating to collect.

While the proposed PSN update was a dark moment, I'm glad that Arrowhead & Sony had the humility to admit it was a very poor decision and go back on the requirement.

Thank you Arrowhead, for what is possibly the best PvE experience of the decade so far.
