Though I'd imagine it's pretty difficult to get into at first without help from a few friends (like I had) I can now, after less than 18 hours (15-16 of which over the past 48 hours), say that I can't stop playing and I don't even know why.

So far this game has been strangely addicting despite being very repetitive. (20 hrs at time of writing)

This game... it just never gets old for me!
I usually don't play in long strings, just a haul or two and move on doing something else (this is a personality flaw, not really the game's fault :') )
Anyway, if you're looking for something speedy, don't get this. If you want to sit back and relax while driving a truck, not worrying about bullets flying around for once, absolutely, get the game :P

Spec Ops: The Line is probably the single most confronting game I have played so far. To anyone who is looking for a game with a good storyline, you should try this. If you are looking for a challenge however, I wouldn't recommend this, the combat's not that challenging and quite lineair.
