I was super curious about this game from the moment I saw the first trailer, and I waited patiently for the release. But when it finally dropped, I started seeing a lot of hate—some of it from people who hadn’t even played the game. That confused me. I just couldn’t understand why.

Now, after around 30 hours of playtime (which isn’t a ton, but enough to form a solid opinion), I can confidently say—I’m having a blast. The weapon handling and movement feel smooth and effortless, kills are super satisfying, and the maps are well-designed with smartly placed walls and elevations.

The skins look awesome, and you can get plenty without spending a dime. There’s a gacha system, which I personally enjoy—it’s a great way for people who like collecting rare items to get their fix.

The playable characters, called Lancers, all feel well-balanced, and their abilities fit naturally into their kits. The synergy between them makes for some really fun gameplay.

So, I just don’t get the hate. Yeah, I’ve heard people say the game uses AI-generated art, but honestly, I don’t care. As long as the game is fun, the visuals are cohesive, the gameplay doesn’t get stale, the anti-cheat works, the servers run smoothly, and there’s a high skill ceiling—that’s what makes a great game to me.

The only real issue I’d see is if the original artists didn’t get paid. Other than that? I’m just here to enjoy a solid game.
