IdleOn has a major cheating/black market problem with possible corruption and nothing is being done about it.
Before, anyone says that every game has cheats and a black market, you are right, but I have not seen a game allowing you to spawn ANYTHING you want INCLUDING premium and unobtainable items with a couple of button clicks, and still not be banned. I'm talking about people with 99999 Candies that from my point of view is simply impossible to get legitimately and somehow still roam freely.

I'm sorry but this game is simply not worth your time and money, in itself the game is great and can be fun. The grind can be tedious but is expected from an Idle game, and imo is one of the best if not the best idle game out there.

The problem arises is when you look into the black market, the black market make progress pointless. People are selling 'mods' that allow you to spawn in any item, change any skill level, and worst give yourself any amount of gems. Skipping possible hundreds of hours of progress down to a couple of button clicks. Why should I spend ~$200 on buying all the bundles in the game to get QOL improvements and cosmetics if just for $10/m you can just give it to yourself with no effort. There's possibly major corruption as well when these reputable sellers are as well selling unbans with success.

I used to like this game but in all honesty I regret buying every bundle to support possible corruption. Hopefully, this opens up the discussion of this side of the game clearly effecting it in the shadows, the black market will continue to grow after the iOS Update and beyond if not addressed soon.

SteamVR Enhanced
OVR Advanced Settings adds features that SteamVR needs built in. Adjusting your height in games is already a good reason to get it if you're playing a game where the height is off, gives you more chaperone customization options, and the space turning is a game changer in many games. There are also other minor tweaks that make the VR experience better and easier. Give it a try its free.

VR Must Buy
It's $3 and it gives you every performance statistic that you'd need to benchmark your hardware. Nothing much else to it, you want it, you need it, just get it. So far I've had no issues and works well with other overlays.

Best Application that you thought you didn't need.
Straight to the point want an animated wallpaper? Just buy Wallpaper Engine. Nothing else to it, has an extremely active community that make wallpapers spanning across multiple genres and countries. Have your favorite Waifu or Husbando on your wallpaper. Not into anime? Don't worry you can filter out the anime wallpapers, there is multiple different options you can have your favorite car, audio visualizer, clock, or landscape on your desktop. The engine is limitless you can even make your own wallpapers straight from the app may take some learning but if you are dedicated enough it is possible. Also note Wallpaper Engine can run without steam being open which is a plus for some.

Recently, my wallpaper engine has been crashing with the latest NVIDIA drivers it's rare though but something to keep in mind when purchasing it may happen reopening it usually is enough or restarting my computer.

A VR Must Have!
I have personally tried other overlay applications (OVRToolkit, OVRDrop, etc.) and XSOverlay is by far the best I personally love the UI it's amazingly simple and modern. I have watched movies, anime, streams, and videos after a less than an hour of setting up. The developers are active and regularly answer questions and listens to feedback which is a plus. I do personally wish it had more performance stats so I wouldn't need fpsVR.

Do not play DFO through Steam!
I highly recommend playing this game on their official client outside of steam. A lot of people have complained that their accounts have been disabled before even finishing the client download on steam and other issues when purchasing cash shop items, if your account does get banned, I suggest making a ticket, their response is slow unfortunately but they will work with you.

DFO is the highest grossing PC game of 2018 (According to Super Data) beating PC powerhouses such as World of Warcraft and League of Legends. You have not heard of this game mainly because many of its player base is from the East.

On to the review:
I do not recommend this game on steam but I highly suggest checking it out through their official client. With its newer brothers on the horizon (Project BBQ and DnF Duel) it will be worth to check out and learn the lore before the new games come out. This MMO is very niche, not everyone likes side scrollers or pixelated graphics. Check it out you might like it.

The game is a lot of fun doing flashy combos in multiple different dungeons with the 16 different classes in the game and 63 different advancements (Not including their 1st, 2nd, and NEO Awakenings which are just upgrades), the game is an eastern MMO meaning of course classes are gender locked but there are male and female equivalents for except 6 classes in the game and some advancements are not duplicated for its male or female equivalent this could be a plus or a negative for some players. There is no character customization upon creating a character which is a bummer, but gear will change your look same with cosmetic cash shop items which are mediocre at best.

The gameplay in my personal experience gets boring mainly because side scrollers are not entirely my cup of tea what makes up for the boring gameplay is the class you play; flashy skills animations carry this game it looks great with this art style. The lore in DFO is solid I am not a big story person even more in MMO's but DFO did not disappoint me with its lore I suggest trying it when playing the game and search up more about the story it has a lot of potential and hopefully its subsidiary does its justice when it releases. I did not socialize personally in DFO but I have not seen the chat move with conversations like other games I cannot give my opinion but parties, trading, emails, and guilds do exist.

There is a fatigue system I personally see this as a plus because it gives me reason to take break for the day, early on when your power leveling it will slow you down but once you play the game longer the more it gets brushed off. Early on the game feels a little bit outdate and boring but it starts getting better after you choose your sub class (In most occasions, some classes have extremely difficult or boring early games). The late makes up for the early game the animations are flashy enough to keep my attention as I said before but make sure you learn the game early on or you are going to have a rough time if you rush through, oh and there is a lot of events to help players.

Is it Pay to Win?
Short Answer: Yes | Long Answer: No
The reason the short answer is yes is mainly because when you pay in DFO, you pay to save time just like in games like BDO its more of a convenience or speed up factor and it also includes luck meaning a lot of it is RNG based (So you could lose money). To the extent that to get a return of "investment" you will need to spend thousands (This is regard of getting Epic gear, Legendary and Unique is more than enough to participate in end-game content). Everything in the game is farmable and with time you will be able to obtain everything but it will be a grind so be prepared there are a bunch of events that will boost you. Do not let what I said discourage you it is not as bad as you think way better than other MMO's *cough* Black Desert *cough*.

6/10
It is a solid game do not let steam player numbers discourage you most of the player base if off steam, but if you want a large community try playing the Korean or Chinese version of the game if you can get your hands on it. Great game to just sit back and relax with all the intense effects going on the screen.
