The game is great, it feels like a story driven rogue-like survival game.

While story didn't engage me as much, I can't say its boring. Maybe if the protagonist could respond to the NPCs on the radio to you, then it would be better but its ruining the fun. The looting mechanics are enjoyable and from what I saw the further into the game we get the more tools that ease this process become available so that is something I am looking forward to. In regards to enemies, nothing tries to attack you directly but you will know that it is a hostile environment. The car maintenance part for me doesn't feel like a chore, it is quite fun sitting at a garage swapping out the parts, fixing quirks and even detailing it to your likening.

The game isn't so well optimised. 4K res, most settings on High and my 3080 (12G) is running this game at around 60 FPS with DLSS set to balanced. There are infrequent stutters and frame drops too.

I also like it that it's possible to put your own MP3 tracks into the game and have it play on the in-game radio, with post process effects that even make the music sound like you are in a car, listening to it on speakers. This also comes in handy when fixing up the car and you can listen to your favourite music from the garage's jukebox, sets up the mood just right.

Bonus points as I can relate to owning a crappy car part of the game, lol.

First game of this kind that I have ever played. I enjoyed it very much and hope that we will get to see many more from this developer.

Minor spoilers:
The game "MiSide" is a delightful blend of cute, story-rich, and psychological horror elements (which for average gamer will be a bit obvious, but don't worry it will not break the fun), with the adorable character Mita stealing the show all the time, in different versions of herself, to not spoil too much. The narrative is engaging and keeps you hooked from start to finish. The atmosphere is perfectly eerie, and the psychological twists add a layer of depth that makes the experience truly memorable.

The gameplay is smooth, and the occasional puzzles are challenging enough to keep you entertained without being frustrating (unless you get stuck in a loop like some people, lol). The art style is charming and complements the horror elements beautifully. The mini games are detailed and change up the gameplay drastically, adding variety and keeping things fresh. I personally hope for story expansion in the form of a new instalment, as there's so much potential for further development.

I recommend this game to everyone that has spare 3-4 hours to play this game, it's really nice. Whether you're a fan of horror games (I'am not talking about some hardcore horror fans) or just looking for something unique and engaging, or just want to meet the greatest, amazing, coolest Mita - Cappie, "MiSide" is definitely worth your time. This game deserves Indie Game of the Year for its polish and seamless transitions, with no noticeable issues alone.

TL;DR: Cute character, engaging story, perfect blend of horror and charm. Play it if you have 3-4 hours to spare. You won't regret it! At least give Cool Mita (Cappie) a chance to shine!

I am not a fan of LOTR but this game is something that I can recommend to people like me, who are not fans of Tolkien stories. It is a lot of fun.

Finally, the game feels more like payday. I am still not enjoying the new armor and health system but the gun feel and their animations.. damn, they are good. I returned to play the new DLCs heists and for now I spent 3 hours playing just the syntax error because I had so much fun. I have been putting off returning to PAYDAY 3 but now when I tried I am sure I will come back for more.

For clarity: I spent these 3 hours only on solo mode (beta) as I had bad experience playing "online solo" with all the lag on the release, I haven't tried online and I am not going to until they give us a way to handle griefers/hostage takers (people not willing to escape when the heist is done).

I can sure recommend this game now, just make sure they deliver all promises from the road map.

Game of The Year for sure.

Grind game until you spend all your money on it, then it is a little bit less grindy

My friends and I enjoy it, however for people with no fibre internet connection regular multiplayer would be nice, maybe with friend pass implementation like the game "It Takes Two" does. I believe two separate clients would also solve the audio issue.

Other than that, I recommend that game.
