One of my favorite indie games of the past 10 years just released a sequel, which somehow (so far) has topped the first one. The music is incredibly memorable and tragic, better than the first, so is the art, world design, NPCs (seriously, they're great) and writing. I'm 6 hours in and the only gripe I have is that there could be more bosses, and preferably more difficult. Using the flaming censer is straight up better than the other weapons in combat so some bosses are just a speed bump. Otherwise, phenomenal thus far.

one of the most underrated fighters out there

the character creator is one of the most in depth ive seen in a game and it basically carries the whole experience. i wish this game was played more and people used the character creator for more than just anime girls and edgy OCs.

This is probably the best game I've ever played.

I can see people who aren't fans of the souls series having a hard time or disliking the game and I respect that, but I really hope that everyone who is interested tries the game, and plays it past Limgrave. I've seen a fair bit of people who are quick to jump on the game during the very early sections, despite the game only increasing in quality as it goes on. As you start getting the hang of it, it only gets better.

If you are a fan of the souls series, then buy it no questions asked. It is probably the best FromSoft game to date, even (in my opinion) beating out Bloodborne in quality (although I think Bloodborne's ideas and concepts are still the coolest).

This game will probably get DLC due to the amount of cut / inaccessible content, and I imagine the performance will get improved as time goes by. I would recommend that a lot of you PC-Nerd pissbabies take a moment to focus on the actual game rather than the performance.

Pirates had their own form of same-sex marriage called ‘matelotage’; matelots wore matching gold rings, fought side by side, and, when one died, the other got their cut of the booty. Some matelotages were purely platonic, but the matelotage of the pirate captains Robert Culliford and John Swann, in 1698, was far from it. The pair were said to have run away together to a tropical island near Madagascar after years of pillaging, with John Swann cited as Culliford’s “great consort who lives with him.”
