This game is really good in my opinion even after Witcher 3 its still pretty fun. The side quests and main quest is very indepth unlike many new RPGs which have extremely terrible quests, anyhow, it would be a shame not to play it since im playing it because i want to know the story before i played Witcher 2 and then i can finally play Witcher 3 which im looking forward to.

This game is developed by CD PROJECT RED which is a Polish company (like me :D Polska power!) who have recreated the game from the books of Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski from 1993 to 2013. There are 8 books which are all fantastic i hope, i might read them some day.

The books are about Geralt of Rivia a witcher who will penetrate everyones wifes so hide them when you see him. Now this is where the main story begins. The games are about Geralt of Rivia (whos not actually from Rivia fyi) the first installment which is The Witcher takes place after Geralt fights a striga who is a princess cursed from birth. After the fight some time passes and we see Geralt waking up in Kaer Morhen with amnesia, then the bad guys come called Salamandra and do some nasty things to Kaer Morhen.

The lore is really good and is based of the books. The lore is great and really interesting it really makes you want to be a witcher yourself even though you cant because there arent any more people left that can train you to be a witcher incase im wrong please correct me and tell me if there is anyone because i wanna be a witcher :D
By the way Kaer Morhen is like a capital to witchers, a fortress where witchers train and train and ♥♥♥ everyones wifes however they cant have children.

My favourite part of the game is the romance cards you collect after you successfully penetrate someones wife or a daughter of a king :). The romance cards are cards with naked pictures of woman you successfully woe to Geralt. I try to collect all of them.

The game is very long and i think it takes about 60hrs to finish the game if you fully experience everything there is to find which is a lot. From penetrating a sorceress to collecting herbs for a perfume for a peasant woman, from fighting monsters to penetrating vampires, there are many fun things to do in the witcher 1 and i think you will enjoy it.

I recommend paying full price for the game since its quite cheap and really worth playing if you want to be a complesionist and know the story before embarking onto Witcher 3.

I think this game is as good as your moms knickers on a cold afternoon.
