I almost never leave a review for products but the way this game just crushes my hopes and expectations make me feel obligated to say something. I've been keeping my eye on this game since its reveal in 2020 and after playing the the closed beta in september and the pre-release beta now, I seriously wonder what the hell they're doing over at their studio? TELL ME HOW THE CLOSED BETA FROM TWO MONTHS AGO RAN BETTER AND CRASHED LESS THAN THE PRE-RELEASE???? Not to mention i played the september beta on a 1080ti, since then I've upgraded to an AMD 6650xt (basically a GTX 3060) and I am getting railed with frame stutters and constant crashing due to piss poor optimization and horrendous servers that boot me mid to late game every other game. (on two seperate occasions i got booted AGAIN after reconnecting for getting booted the first time) If you're a big fan of 40,000k I do think you will find enjoyment in this game, despite all i've said i still continue to play because it is fun and enjoyable but in its current state it is definitely NOT worth purchasing. For those on the still deciding whether or not to buy, maybe give it 2-3 months post-launch before making a decision.

played 11 hours when posting the old review, 100+ hours later with no ssd proves two things. One, the game got better, by no means is it exceptional, but it's definitely better. Two, no wonder i'm having frame stutters and texture popping, i'm playing a fat shark game on an hdd. Still fun tho.

tis a very fun game with a gud story
