THE BEST GAME TO EVER EXIST!!! don't be deceived by my steam playtime, i've dumped THOUSANDS of hours into this game in the closed alpha and will dump thousands more so long as there's breath in my body........ this is my favorite game of all time and with every update it continues to get even better. i very very much look forward to the future of this game, now that it's finally releasing on steam. it's perhaps the single most important game in my life. it has a great building system based on blockland's building grid system, but with a higher level of detail and more polished features. it has a robust and very impressive physics system that allows u to make all sorts of contraptions and vehicles. it has absolutely GORGEOUS visuals (hardware raytracing, volumetric clouds, etc.) and runs very well, considering how far you can push it. it has an incredible dev team and a very very lovely community that i cherish seeing every time i hop on. all of these things blend together into a perfect sandbox experience, rivaled only by gmod. i believe this game has the potential to overtake many sandbox games on steam and beyond just because of how freaking GOOD it is!! seriously if you love building games (especially blockland!) or physics-based sandbox games, you'll probably like brickadia. give it a try!! anyway gtg it's bricking time B)

This game is very fun to play and is probably one of the most enjoyable car-based games I own currently. Love the destruction, the driving, and almost everything about this game. The options for the cars and upgrades are mostly limited right now, but the game is still being updated and more content comes once in a while.

(edit nov. 26, 2024) so back when i wrote this review, the game was very incomplete and lacked a lot of features and polish that the game has now. however, what i praised the game for back then absolutely still stands. this game is even more fun than it was back when i wrote this, and is now one of my favorite racing games ever. i revisited it back in 2020 after forgetting about it for a few years and holy crap it REALLY improved over that timeframe. once i played it more, i felt that my decision to purchase it when i did had paid off tremendously. it really sucked me in and i ended up dumping more hours into it than i expected. i'm not a super pro sim racer and can't speak for wreckfest's 'realism,' but in my opinion the handling feels great, provides a good challenge (especially at higher speeds on loose surfaces like dirt and gravel), and is overall just a lot of fun! the physics are fantastic and gives this game a lot of character, too. if ur a fan of racing games and want an experience that encourages u to drive aggressively, then you'll probably love this game!
