I've bought it when Valve was trying to sell all of Steam Links and Steam Controllers. They were very cheap, I've paid ~15 dollars for both of these collectively. I've been using Steam controller for almost 4 years now. I've used it to play FPS games, RTS games, Arcade ( Fighting, whatever rocket league is ), games from outside storefronts - Steam Controller has worked with everything and provided vast amount of settings to configure. At first it was really hard to get used to the touch pad and gyro steering, but with time I've gotten better at it and in some aspects it was even better than a standard thumbstick. Sadly, 4 years later ( ~ 1500h of gaming with sweaty hands, and sometimes throwing the pad out of frustration ) RUBBER STARTED RUBBING OFF THE THUMBSTICK... This controller is really resilient and is the best controller I've ever used. I wish Valve could do one more restock so I could buy myself a life long supply of them. Great Job Valve, waiting for Steam Controller 2!
