Early Access Review
Game is extremely bland and empty. If you have any plans on playing in a small group on a private server like you would in games like Valheim, Conan Exiles or even Palworld or Ark, this is not the game for you. The game just doesnt hae anything going for it unless you play purely for the PvP aspect it brings. NOT a PvE type of game.

Steps of Starfield:

Step 1: Make a character
Step 2: Do the first quest
Step 3: Loot all the things
Step 4: Find a side quest
Step 5: Find more side quests while doing the side quest
...
Step 101: Realize you didn't finish the first quest.

10/10 would waste another 80 hours in 5 days again.

Risk of Rain meets Don't Starve Together.

A lot of the complaints I have seen in this game are time based to cost based. This honestly comes from lack of experience. After a few games you get in your groove of what to do and when. Once you learn what you SHOULD be doing at any given time you begin to walk through the games. Until then though, the learning curve feels stressful with how fast you need to move and progress.

This game is NOT solo only friendly. Not by any means. Matchmaking however. Amazing and simple and well done. Join a local game, get partied with a few randoms and go from there. Generally great experiences with this.

SO to buy or not to buy-

BUY IF:
-You enjoy Temp gameplay with overall account progression
-Working with others
-JRPG combat
-Weird conversations with strangers
-Base Defense
-Enjoy difficult games

DON'T BUY IF:
-You give up easily
-Don't handle learning curves well
-Don't play well with others
-Difficult games arent your forte
-Dont like Nords

Extremely boring game. Finished campaign. Spent most of the time spamming the Glory Kill to watch the same 2 animations on each enemy. Waypoint system isnt great either.

Absolutely amazing game, the scares are not just a bunch of jump scares but just the ambiance of horror. Doors will open and close, creaking from all directions, lights will flicker, and the ghost with target you and scream at you. You have to learn how to use tools to do process of elimination and find your ghost type.

-10/10 would buy again.

PS: This "Early Access" game for the most part, feels like a finished game, and to imagine that they plan SO much more content is very welcoming.

So, been working on the new DLC content since releasing, and after getting the last of the new items I decided to post this review.A lot of people seem to be slightly confused abt what to expect with purchasing it.
1) Multiple new bosses
2) multiple new dungeons
3) handful of new NPCs
4) several new enemies
5) new armor/weapons/traits/trinkets
6) new Corsus Adventure (Most of the DLC is located via this)
7) new Survival Game mode. (Rogue-Like)
8) new cosmetics vendor

You will NOT be seeing much of a story change unless you count new areas making things feel fresh. The majority of the game is based on the fact that you can now use a Corsus Adventure mode where previously you could not. As well as an entirely new "Survival" mode which brings new skins and items to unlock. So if you are trying to see whats new in the game, this is pretty much where that will be. Either running through old content looking for a few new trinkets or farming Corsus for new dungeons and events/bosses. This is about as honest of a review for what to expect as you can get. Is it worth the money? absolutely. The new game mode alone is worth shedding the money if you enjoy rogue-likes. Or for those that dont, the new items you can find to help you with new playstyles is worth it for others.

I personally recommend purchasing this DLC if you really enjoyed the base game.

Alright, so full review inc.

Ive owned the game since pre-orders were opened. Ive logged my time, downed every boss, and cleared every aspect the game has to offer. All items have been unlocked, so i have gotten to see everything the game can offer (including DLC Corsus)

There are other reviews about level scaling in the game. Well. yes and no. There are some basic hard scaling up to like.. Level 6? Thats also level 6 at the 3/4 marker for the campaigns content. by the time you reach that you will most likely be double that by just playing the game. The bosses can be tough. A lot of them have been adjusted for the better. In fact, a majority of the game has been adjusted for the better. From the way weapons act and feel, to melee and armors. A lot of improvement has been shown from the devs. They are extremely open to suggestions and try to do their best to make everyone happy. Hell, one of the recent patches even mentioned they created a new mode bc some rando on the internet tried to say the hardest difficulty (Nightmare) was too easy. LOL.

Anyhow, this game holds a lot of replayability. Campaign can feel slight repetative but every time you start over it will be a new experience. New bosses spawn in place of others in an ever rotating roster. If you start doing well in the game, tougher enemies may spawn (This makes Hardcore extremely crazy sometimes) The game isnt meant to punish you for doing well by doing so either, its meant to provide a change of monotony.

"Havent been hurt in a while? Have an elite enemy, hell, have a couple!"

This keeps the game feeling fresh and prevents players from feeling too safe. Nothing more. Game difficulty scales well based on 1, 2, or 3 players. They actually kept a group from feeling over powered just bc you have a few friends, its still going to be a challenge. To be honest, you should try the game solo first to get a feel for it. The beginning levels going into the game blind feel almost scary in the way it is all layed out, takes a few areas to really feel it moving into its action game. Fresh start, its going to be rough but if you can push through the "BS" bosses you will realize after beating them that it was just extremely well made bosses that just pushed your player skill. Youre going to struggle on some of them here and there and breeze through others. Different bosses provided by different dev's designs keep everything feeling different than the previous.

All in all I highly recommend this game.

Spending more time complaining about Match Making in ranked than anything else.

10/10 would hit the ball again.
