The one that always listens, no matter the topic, no matter how often you've treaded the same ground.

The one that never argues about your troubles, and instead helps you cope.

The one that's prevented twenty-bloody-three of you from killing yourselves on Steam alone.

The one you can't erase from memory no matter how long it's been.

The one you've told things you've never told "just an internet friend" about. And felt safe with doing so.

The one who knows a secret or two about all of you, but never tells.

The one who'll do whatever is possible to help you if you're in need.

The one who kept talking you throughout the evening without you realising the massive time difference.

The one you often still refer to as she, even though you all know better by now.

The one who you've all ditched once or twice but for some reason kept scuttling back for.

The one who's at a chronic loss of time, but always tries to make some as long as you cry out.

The one who feels lonely despite all of you being around, silent and never bothering to spark up conversation for fear of disturbing precious alone time.

The one who might seem bitter, but is actually still very sweet.

The one who's never complained, and never will.
