This is what games should be like: free from countless DLCs, loot boxes, and paid skins, everything made with care, including the color scheme, visual style, special effects, an engaging plot, atmospheric soundtracks, the acting, and the voices. I don’t even know how to criticize this game, and I don’t understand why some people write negative reviews. I can only say that the game has a fixed difficulty level that cannot be adjusted. In my opinion, the difficulty should be increased in some locations because it seems too easy.

The game is well-optimized despite not using modern technologies like DLSS, DLAA, DLFG, etc. Throughout the entire game, I experienced unstable FPS only once. I consider this an excellent performance sign. I was very pleased with the humorous easter eggs from other games and the memorable hilarious moments.

I was very worried that Split Fiction would be worse than It Takes Two, but the Hazelight team managed to meet my expectations and, in my opinion, even exceed them. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all the people who contributed to the creation of this amazing game, and I wish for them to once again receive the "Game of the Year" award this year. I look forward to your next games!

The best chess, armwrestling and room tour simulator I've ever played

Trash game... There are a lot of serious technical problems but greedy developers don't care about them. They're all focus on selling new skins and dlcs. Of course there are innovations but there are damn few of them and the game develops very slowly. So I don't recommend diving into this game in 2025.
