Its a strong legacy fighting game, unlike some other fighting games out there if you decide to put this down for a while you can be confident the player base will still be there when you decide to come back to it. If Street Fighter 5 couldn't kill off this series then nothing will.

The netcode is the best its ever been in any previous major Street Fighter title.
Training Mode is also the best its ever been, the options are very robust and it has great visual indicators to help players learn system functions and information.

Ranked matches let you play best 2 out of 3 although this is not forced so people can 1 and done you if they want.
Player match you can rematch as many times as you like, this is great as it really reduces the time you have to spend on loading screens.
Battle Hub is a great addition as it also has option for endless re matching but in addition other players can queue up on your cabinet winner stays on style.

Has a decent amount of other content outside of online vs mode. World Tour mode isn't anything cutting edge but its fun enough for what it is. This ties in directly to Avatar Battle as you level and gear your Avatar up in World Tour mode and then can go into the Battle Hub to fight against other peoples Avatars.

One thing I think should really not be overlooked are the retro games you get access to. They rotate through a list of old arcade game from the 80s-90s that include shmups and em ups that you have access to from the battle hub. They also seem to often throw in copies of the Arcade games in their season passes that you can access anytime even if they aren't on rotation. These arcade classics also come with their own leader boards if you are into that.

A new optional Modern Control scheme has been introduced that allows access to special moves at the press of a single button, this comes at the cost of a flat 20% damage reduction for any single button special moves as well as removing access to some characters normal/special moves due to the way button mapping on Modern works. This control scheme is not a gimmick and should not be slept on, it has its own strengths and weaknesses just like Classic Controls and it is a viable option all the way at the highest levels of competition.

If you are a legacy Street Fighter player then you already have this game, if you are a newcomer the game is probably the most accessible Street Fighter has ever been and there is enough content outside of fighting other players to distract yourself when you inevitably hit the wall of learning progression to tide you over until you are ready to get back into the fight.

MK11 is probably the best functioning Mortal Kombat game on PC yet. Apart from some shortage of filter option the online works very well. The game looks absolutely stunning and you can enable krushing blows and fatalities to run at 60fps unlike the console counterparts that are locked at 30fps. Even the story mode I found got better and better the further it went. The only really downside to MK11 on PC in my opinion is that it has a much smaller online player base, but that is not really a fault of the game itself.
