Played in two of the closed betas, has a lot more polish and feels like a finished game. Palworld without having to buy Palworld. And dark themes.

OneShot is a rather unique little indie title that hits a lot of similar notes to other unique little indie games; Having you do through some of some local files, having another application open, dragging the window around your screen, and other fun little tricks, tips, and ideas. All using puzzles too. OneShot really does take the cake of being a friendly little puzzle game with a great story while not having 'challenging' the game-play that other titles may boast, such as UnderTale, all while also having an amazing soundtrack. It's all cleverly wrapped with an enchanting narrative, and I highly recommend you have this experience for yourself.

So. Here's the thing. I've played BDO, SW:ToR, PSO2 (pre-NG) and a few others all with friends then after a few weeks the game being abandoned, leaving me alone to level and grind content. FFXIV? This hits different. There's tons of side-quests and crafting to do to distract you from your loneliness or even keep you from doing content with your friends!

Now the best part. Finish A Realm Reborn. Find the "The Rise and Fall of Gentlemen" quest at The Steps of Nald in Ul'dah. Begin the wonderful and glorious adventures of Hildibrand.

Like taking stuff apart? Like lasers? This game has it. Oh, and in space.

So be prepared to spend a lot of time learning maps and what to look out for, then forget everything you learned because of an operator rework, a map rework, or new release. Then also forget half of what you knew because map rotation changed for the week. Alright, then spend enough time to buy operators with in-game currency or buckle up and drop the dough to just get the characters you want, or stick with a season pass to get the new ops of the year.

TLDR; This game is ever changing and a lot of investment with a steep learning curve and a decent skill ceiling.

I had a squad named after my friends, a few of them died but their guns went on and continued their legacy. Make sure to finished the game in consecutive sittings. If you decide to take a break, you may not do well coming back to it like I have, essentially starting over from mission 1: gatecrasher.

The Beginner's Guide is an experience more than it is a game, an exploration into creative stagnation and how sometimes people just need to let others grow.

As an aside, I feel slightly upset that people have spent even more money just for the soundtrack that is included with the game on it's own as WAV files. I accidentally stumbled upon the fact that all of the game's sound files are included in WAV format, all practically the same version as found on bandcamp; Just dig a little and you'll find what you're looking for.

Personally I was conflicted until I did more research about the author, this is one person's collected works; no worries about legal issues as far as I know; ie publishing someone else's work.

I've spent a lot of time and money on this game, supporting it for over 2 years. There comes a point in life when you have to look at the hand you've been dealt and how much you've already put into the pool, and just give up. Stop bluffing that things are going to get better and that the developer is going to listen to the community or give back to the die-hards in the community because they've already taken too much. PAYDAY 2 used to be a good game reliant on teamwork to run heists and rob banks blind, but OVERKILL has changed PAYDAY 2 into a game that robs the consumers blind. Please save your money and find something else. As good as a gun simulator and bag tossing simulator as there may ever be, sadly this game will never be worth $150 for a complete experience.
