This game fulfilled my life goal of kicking a child out a window 1000/10

I'm so bad at planning and organizing things my first map ended up looking like a horrifying MC Escher-esque wet dream of conveyors and pipes that became so untenable I had no option but to leave it behind and start anew. Would recommend

Getting hit just right and being sent flying to a different hemisphere causing you to fail a hack right before it's done is the most frustrating thing on the planet

A 3D platformer in a similar vein to Super Mario 64 and A Hat in Time, the controls are tight and your options when chaining aerial movement abilities is impressive. Perhaps the most interesting thing to come from Demon Turf is the way in which checkpoints operate through levels, having a set number of checkpoints that you're able to place and infinite respawns to these points.
Honestly I love everything about the game aside from the "combat" system. It's mostly just abilities that allow you to move enemies around while they actually die from hazards strewn about or falling off an edge. I found it to be kind of finicky in contrast to the tight and enjoyable platforming, but it's not so terrible as to ruin the game.
Still a strong recommendation from me 👌

Why did I buy this

An interesting game with a movement system that I absolutely adore due to its degree of freedom and once you get a hang of it every level turns into a flowing playground.
My initial review stated complaints about the game length but with the 3.0 update this game is well worth the cost.
