EDIT:

I have to change my review, the AI is just too terrible. I got sold by the armory at the start, but after 3 hours (beyond it being refundable) it just starts to to show the glaring lack of any of any fun. Far too much to pay at this point. And I have completed all missions.

Earlier review at 1 1/2's of play:

Seems like there is a lot of potential depth, and I am enjoying it even in the current state since it has some basic campaigns. Depending though on what happens I may change this to negative as it's fairly bare bones as far as campaign. Pavlov seems to just be more fun, prettier and easier to see enemies, although it is more basic in gameplay.

I can't figure out how to switch fire modes since it quick turns me, but it indicates on screen that right click right touchpad on vive is switch fire mode.

It's not too bad, But I got a refund, The motion you need to make is not at all like you would shoot a real basketball. The basketball is perched at the end of the Vive wand when it makes more sense for it to be where your hand actually is in the virtual space.

So to me, who plays a lot of rec bball it just feels wildly off in the actual shot mechanics.

As for the backboard, that reacts nicely and allows bank shots at the same angle as real life. The hoop however acts like some sort of crazy pinball bumper, making anything other than a perfect swish bounce 10 feet away.

The main reason i got the refund is that I'm worried it would wreck my IRL shooting mechanics, where I am about a 65-70% free throw shooter.

If you are looking at it as goofy fun it's not too bad.

Bad, bad bad.,,

I feel like the atmosphere is decent, but mechanics are nothing like real squash. Eleven Table Tennis is an example about how to do a racquet sim. The face that this dev has like 4 games out makes me feel like they really aren't experts in any of them and are hoping to cast a wide net.

I suggest finding a real squash player and refining the gameplay.

This is not early access material. This is pre alpha material.

Finish the game.

I cannot recommend this game to those who need to be immediately fulfilled for their dollar. There is alot to like that will hopefully come to fruition in the future. Certainly the world is something any Jules Verne/Joseph Konrad fan will adore and I think the writing and storytelling is in the 99 percentile of any game I've played. The gameplay sadly, falls far below what is acceptable. The placeholder islands and enemies just put too much uncertainty in this for it to be fun and satisfying or either or.

To put it in perspective, I've played this game a ton hoping for it to get better because I took the wrong path a la Dark Souls, but it is always just the same grind so far, the three sisters, the tomb folks and then meander around the sea doing the same thing I did last time. Maybe take a little too much risk for much reward, and then in the end die in very boring sea battle or to madness. It's not the dying that bothers me. It's the very boring rebirth.

I personally am not so sad I dropped almost $20 Canadian on this, but I am more altruitic than most. I think there is someting very special under the surface, but if you value your money which I do not.... wait.
