Plays like demons souls, level can be difficult to understand at times, never had an issue with the hitboxes that people keep talking about and I did have to look up how to beat the story since you have to speak to specific npc's that I just couldn't find

other than that dark souls 2 is worth playing at least once

I didn't go hollow and saved solaire :)

Honestly beautiful, soundtrack brings tears to my eyes and It's a challenging yet enjoyable experience
