Would highly recommend getting.

- Can get good results with 2x or even 3x fps multiplier.
- Very lightweight and less demanding than what I thought (works well on budget systems)
- Latency is fairly reasonable
- Easy and simple to use with easy navigation
- Works well with pretty much any game old or new
- Can also improve performance for higher demanding games that even struggle with mid to high end systems
- Support and development is fairly active

If you're looking to get more out of your old system or even your new system for a very affordable price without heavily compromising on visuals then I would highly recommend getting it.

So far after my experience I would recommend holding off for a while until the game has undergone further development and refinement, as my current experience with the game indicates a certain level of instability at this point.

In my opinion I think the game was released too early and should have been delayed for a Q3/Q4 2024 release.

Please bear in mind that I have a high-end system which has an RTX 4090, Ryzen 9 7950X, 64GB RAM and the game is installed on a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD.

Here are the main problems:

- Early on crashes (Not much built, low population etc.)
- Shadows flickering from time to time
- Screen tearing when moving the camera
- Overall low and unstable fps
- Anti-aliasing looks poor and rough to visuals
- AI seems to drift off path (Vehicles and pedestrians)
- LOD system is very buggy (detailed visuals when zoomed in are hit and miss)
- Road traffic behaviour is odd and congests junctions as they don't utilise lane management
- Poor roadmap / lack of future content for 2024 (MAJOR)

With my system in the games current state at 4K high settings I was averaging around 56 - 60fps which provides a smooth experience however, I would dread to think what the fps will be like further into the game.

Having changed to medium settings at 4K I saw no real difference in fps only when I changed the resolution to 1440p I started seeing frames of 70 - 80 fps at small village level. My main concern is the inconsistency of the fps as my 1% lows were down to 15 fps for a few seconds then would go back up to around 50fps or so which in some cases were visible when playing the game.

Here are some positives about the game:

- Lighting is a major step up from Cities Skylines
- There is a lot more depth into analytics and management
- The progression pacing is quite reasonable
- Road tools provide greater flexibility and refinement (not the best but better than CS)
- Utilities are easier to manage
- Up-gradable buildings provide better space utilisation

For future updates I would like to see support for DLSS 2/3 , FSR 2/3 and XESS to provide better visuals and overall performance especially for people with lower hardware on top of consistent optimisation and quality of life improvements.

Overall, the game possesses some commendable qualities, such as its road tools and detailed data. It holds great potential. However, the optimisation concerns result in a somewhat buggy experience, including crashes and screen tearing, which hinder the overall playability of the game. I intend to revisit and update this review as the game receives future patches and updates.

P.S For people who say FPS isn’t important in games like strategy are wrong. Having a stable and consistent fps of around 60 provides better overall responsiveness and feel to the game. Also note that the more you build in CS the more taxing it becomes which will gradually lower your fps so having a decent fps at the start will be able to give some idea of what fps you can expect further into the game.

UPDATE: After the first initial patch FPS and overall performance seems to be much more stable and playable. Hats off to the developers for providing a quick patch and transparent communication throughout launch. At this point in time I still wouldn't recommend the game however, the bugs do seem a bit more manageable but it is still poorly optimised (crashing does occur frequently still) and some settings don't seem to execute the functions they are suppose to do. It still feels as though the game was launched too early. I would certainly holding off for now.

With the 2024 road-map been show cased I think the amount of content planned is pretty poor in my opinion as they are more asset based than functionality based, plus radio stations are pointless and shouldn't be classed as DLC's I would rather have them focus more time and money into adding DLC's that provide more functionality to the game rather than add radio stations.

A well thought out resource management game that can be quite addictive.

Progression feels good and enables steady functionality between tiers to unlock, as well as providing a decent back story to the game to give context to the players purpose and objectives.

Tools are very easy to use and the overall UI is easy to navigate providing an ideal user experience along with fairly detailed management systems and great visuals.

The community seems highly active and well driven along with an active development team constantly providing new progression material and content for future updates.

Would highly recommend if you love resource management games that is highly focused on mechanics.

Overall not worth it in my opinion.

They've managed to fix the server connection issues that I had at launch for the steam platform which is a plus however, the game overall is lacking in many different aspects.

The core game mechanics are weak and don't live up to other sports based titles even the ones from the past, the lack of progression makes the game feel pointless and the overall experience is sub par.

I wouldn't recommend buying it, luckily I got it on a steam sale at a very low price.

PROS:
• Graphics are quite realistic and provide immersion within the game.
• Lighting is fairly realistic and provides moods to the environment and scene quite well.
• Characters are quite well done however, mouth movements on certain characters can be a bit odd.

CONS:
• The co-op system of the game didn't work and ended up paying for another license
• Used the same formula as Man Of Medan and was too easy to predict certain outcomes.
• The controls are awful and the camera angles made it hard to see throughout the game.

Overall another mediocre "horror" game. It wasn't too bad however I felt that a lot of the elements such as the controls and camera angles letdown the immersion of the game and ruined the overall experience.

I would only recommend if you like narrative driven horror games that aren't really that scary but provide curiosity to certain levels, otherwise just stick to other well know horrors.

Overall its a well thought out strategy game in which can become quite addictive as you progress throughout. The game is well optimised especially when quite far into the game, its easy to navigate and lastly it provides a lot of customisation for the player.

The start can be quite slow especially when playing vanilla but the more you get into it the more fun you have in my opinion. In addition to the excellent core features the game also provides easy mod support in which you can choose from a wide variety of mods providing additional playerability and longevity to the game.

All in all if you like strategy games focused around logistics and in depth transportation / city management then this is the game for you.

Great concept for the simulation community however, it feels very clunky and glitchy. If the functionality of the game was to be significantly improved and the level of detail of the game got improved then yeh it could be a good game but right now it feels as though it came out in the early 2000's and is extremely basic. Also I wouldn't recommend getting it at its current price as I don't think its worth anywhere near £10 yet let alone £15. Although it is nice to see frequent updates.

Overall a pretty disappointing game. The concept of the game is good and could potentially make for a great game however right now in its current state it is shockingly awful and feels like it is no where near to enjoyment.

When starting off the game it lacks navigation as the control layouts are a bit odd, the task / objective boxes cover up parts of the menu's and overall the tutorials lack some information here and there making the games progression feel extremely slow. Plus sections of the settings tabs are disabled making them useless.

The multiplayer system is one of the worst I have seen. Me and my friend wanted to play together and the crew system is somewhat disfunctional and from what I can see is only a one way system as the leader of the crew doesnt have permission to spawn to crew members but crew members can spawn to the leader. Also the cool down system for the beacon to spawn at your leader is way too high (30 mins).

Every time me and my friend get the resources and start building the ship either someone comes along a consistently spawn kills us and destroys our ship or they will just kill us straight away take the loot and run off making it extremely difficult to start off somewhere as any spawning islands are just full of other players which are always hostile and dont even use the chat system to communicate.

Last but not least is the servers. There are only two servers one for PvP and the other for PvE. From my experience of the PvP server the optimisation is awful. Frame drops are frequent, desync is another common issue and the physics are partially messed up as you sometimes rag doll in mid air without doing anything.

Overall it just seems like a massive grinde fest of a game which is poorly designed as well as optimised and you should consider putting your money elsewhere .

Its ridiculouse how little there is to the game. Its been in development now for over 4 years and they even stated their team was increasing in size but yet there is barely any content and progression made within those years. I would not recommend anybody buy this game until you can see what its like when the final build comes out if that ever happens.

Its developers like this that let down the gaming industry and give developers poor reputations. I expected a lot more but yet what was provided was 5 mins of content. Their social media is non-existent and from what I can see they've had poor money management causing them to run out of funds. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS "GAME"!

Game seems well built and lookS quite good. Goes into quite a lot of depth within financials, recruitment and managment however the start of the game is very demanding and requires alot of manual spamming before managers come in to play. There are no tutorials which caused me to at least spend around 20 mins of trying to figure things out and how to get a flow going.

One major thing is recruitment every 14 days or so I have to keep on recruiting which costs me money and time I cant afford within the game and becomes very annoying as I have to restart my production lines as in some cases I'll have 50% - 75% of the work force quit even though Im trying to add items in (which cost a bit) in order to make them happy.

Overall a decent game which over time could potentially be pretty fun however I prefer the play style of Software Inc. as it is easier to manage, less spammy and a bit more fun to play.
