Took me a bit but I've almost 100% the game. But the feeling of wonder and exploration without being handheld was refreshing. Learning things either by mistake or with an idea to see it come true was amazing. There's no combat but a focus on puzzle solving. Overall, I've enjoyed the experience and plan on tackling the next secrets later.

At this moment I just 100% this game.

Is it worth it?
With the banger soundtrack, funny little dialogue, interesting story and simple yet engaging gameplay...

Yep, worth the time invested. Occultation and D6 are good tracks too.

At first I was skeptical of trying it out. Turned into what carried me through college and just being a cybergrinder with better movement / aim.

The level of mechanics into this game is on the extreme ends of things, recreating stuff needed in real life that you don't think about. Sometimes the dead isn't the only thing left to kill you and this game will quickly teach you about that. Highly recommended.

I think a short proper summary is in order after nearly 300 hours and 100% the game with all achievements.

Despite the overall challenge being vertical, a slow pace with an understanding of sacrifice and reading will let you easily push through this game. The story is phenomenal, the artwork is amazing and the combat is a great challenge to most. Abuse all sorts of weird setups and designs as each floor is meant for a different play style. And remember that even the negatives gives some amazing positives when used correctly. The real challenge is knowing when to let certain things hit and when to fight, that's the first hurdle that the game truly throws at you.

p.s. you can try to play Lob Corp for more context but I feel like this gave enough info for a good chunk of any newcomer to PM. Just watch a couple of vods of the hell that is L Corp's 50 days and enjoy the Play of Ruina.

Also Limbus Sweep and Mili's OST is perfection.

I've been playing on console for 800 hrs with hunter rank 200+ and master rank 104. I just recently got it on PC this month as a gift. I can't have much of an opinion on how it runs, bugs or issues across the entire game on this device but there is one thing I can say: This game and it's DLC is worth the buck.

A timeless masterpiece, a work of art, a massive meme, and a shooter hat simulator.

It was a ride playing this game for roughly 5 years now and was interesting seeing all the changes that came into it. Although the updates are being progressively more slower to come, the community still holds on to the game. In my case, even with the haters, memers and the aggressive players, the community still does well when helping each other out.

Gameplay-wise, it's your basic team shooter with a cartoon twist into it. But it's a bit more stranger when it comes to teamwork aspect in this game. Most players wouldn't communicate too often in game, making it more solo, but the team idea still resides within it. With all 9 classes, 3 attackers, defenders and supporters, synergies just become apparent and you'll get use to it very quickly.

Customization is heavily done with this game, making some of the most strangest, and sometimes most hilarious, looking characters, keeping the funny idea into a game of shooting. There is a massive assortment of weapons, allowing you to fit any style of combat that you need. And to the character customization on looks, it's called the hat-based shooter for a reason. There is an insanely large assortment of clothing items that you can deck your class out, so you can become anyone you want in the game. What's better? Being in a game of grey looking basic soldiers with kitted out guns, or fighting against a Heavy named "God" wielding a golden minigun with a medic who has their chest out wearing pink and is basically flexing on you?

But looking into the learning curve of this game, it's quite difficult and I was only hooked once I started to have friends to play with it, getting my skills sharpened every game. Using the mediocre tutorial will kinda help, but only to the controls of the game. The rest is up to you, and every class has a trick up there sleeves. For instance, if you are kinda new to the shooter genre, you would never think of shooting a rocket or sticky bomb underneath you. Using logic, it would "kill you". Yet in TF2, it reveals the wacky movement of sticky and rocket jumping, maybe even sentry jumping.

What I would recommend in order to stick with this game is either do the following:
Pick a community to join (Ex. I stick with rocket jumping to keep myself in the game)
Do competitive, not the game mode, but like UGC, Highlander, etc.
Try some trading if you have some experience with it before.

If solo-ing for the most part (aka without friends), try to just be a good sport in game and try working with peeps around on the basic game modes. It's more enjoyable and rewarding when saying thank you to a medic than to hear one rage on why you are dying often.

Overall, this free-to-play shooter was my reason to be on Steam and kept me going for a long time. I may have not played the game recently but I'll always come back for the nostalgia and seeing how my skills dropped over time, heh.

A game that makes Minecraft meet Day-Z idea, and with the sneak peek to 3.0 update to know whats coming for all players that want to see Nelson's progress in making the game. Even though, it still in work many people still love this remarkable game. To make this in short, awesome game.
