Feels like a mix between a fighting game and an RPG. Great fun, would recommend if you're into DBZ. Buy it on sale though, I'd say.

This game is great but its kinda old and flawed in some ways. Let me explain.

Let me start with the good stuff.

The story telling the game goes for is superb. It leaves tons of things regarding your character unanswered allowing you to choose why your character did things in the past and what youre going to do now. This is great because it really adds to the RPG experience. Everything you say in dialogues has concequences regarding the outcome of the game and the powers youre able to use wich is makes said dialogues more engaging and rewarding.

The options the game gives you for armor customization, weapon customization and class building really surprised me. You can make a lightsaber glow blue, red, green... even silver. You can even choose to go in detail with everyone of your partymembers, choosing wich powers and feats they get, or if youre feeling lazy, let the game autolevel up so you can spend more time on other things.

Questing is very rewarding with lots of credits and items to be earned on the side though I have to admit that sometimes I had to look up some things on a walkthrough. This game does its best to help you get the hang of it, but you need to read carefully because if you skip through what the game is trying to tell you, you might have a hard time.

The combat system is unique. Its kind of turn based. Chance to hit and dodge are determened by your skills, weapon upgrades and armorbonuses. It allows you to pause at anytime allowing you to put thought in to every move. Mastering the pause button is crucial as some encounters are quite difficult.

This game is really easy to mod. Just hit up the workshop and subscribe to some things and voila! Its in there. You can even still get achievements on a modded save!
I highly reccomend getting some mods, in fact id say its essential. Hit up the lost content mods and some HD texture mods. This makes the game feel way less old.

Now on to the bad stuff.

The saving system does NOT hold your hand. Its kinda like a Bethesda game in this regard, so save as often as you can. Do NOT rely on autosaves because one death can put you back for hours. Luckily the game knows this and tells you in the beginning. About to open a door? Save. Completed a quest? Congratulations, now save. Finished speaking to someone? Save, because you never know when combat confronts you.

There are also some bugs though its not that bad considering I encountered 2 bugs in 25 hours of gaming. Just to be safe though, it might be a good idea to save in 2 or 3 slots. Maybe save in a slot after landing on a planet and use another save to explore the planet. This gives you a sort of backup in case a quest bugs up or something.

So to wrap this little review up: if youre looking for an RPG wich will keep you busy for days, give it a shot! Keep an open mind though, as this game might feel a little weird. If you commit though, it really is worth the couple bucks this game costs.

My girlfriend loves this game so much that I am occasionally forced to play playstation instead, as we have only one PC at the moment.
0/10 would not recommend.

I loved this game, I really did. Been playing for years.
But as of late it has become completely unenjoyable, dare I say even unplayable.
If anyone working on this game does not find a way to ban the cheaters infesting the game soon, it will die.
But I guess that wont happen. This game is not profitable enough anymore after all.
