Love it. Totally worth your time.

Most games centering on war like to showcase the conflict from the soldier's perspective. This game doesn't.

This War of Mine is a game about viewing warfare from the side that get's hurt the most: the noncombatants. You play as normal, everyday people not unlike those you pass every day on the street. You're stuck in a war torn city surrounded by rebels and bandits. You're only goal is to survive, often, by any means necessary. This doesn't detract from the gameplay however, because every choice you make will result in consequences. You can't just kill everyone and take their resources unless you want your characters to get crippling depression and give up hope. Every day is a struggle, and this game captures this feeling better than any other game I've played.

Buy it.

It's as if Point Break, Heat, Mission Impossible, The Thomas Crown Affair, Die Hard, Ocean's 11, and the robbery scene from The Dark Knight all came together and had one big happy love child.
