So far, I really enjoy this game.

It is not everything I thought it was coming into it though, however, not finished, will give a much more definitive review when I am further through.

BUY THIS GAME. STOP READING REVIEWS AND BUY THIS GAME. LARIAN STUDIOS NEEDS TO STAY IN BUSINESS FOREVER AND KEEP MAKING CRPG GEMS LIKE THIS AND DOS2. MAYBE DOS3, FRESH IP OR BG4?

I purchased this as soon as it came on early access.

JUST ROLLED CREDITS in 2024 (70 hour playthough)
I easily could have spent 150+ hours in this playthrough, but I purposely missed alot of stuff especially in the later acts. I plan on going back on a harder difficulty to really do all of the content.

I am not too good at CRPGs but damn. I had to have this one. I am now going into other CRPGs because of this game. So amazing. My initial review from 2020 is at the bottom. Everything is so much better. So much more polished. Best story I have ever played.

2020 review:

It is a very good game. Lack of polish is 100% noticeable; however if you just want to game on an amazing CRPG where you can have your imagination do 25% of the work, you will be quite pleased.

There are areas that you are totally unable to access by the way, so yes, this is in all terms; content wise and polish wise, early access.

I will further my review when I have played more and as the game continues development.

It is a great game, I have not experienced any of the problems expressed in the negative reviews.

Runs smooth at max settings at 70fps, or 144fps at medium, I prefer max though tbh.

Great game, buy it.

Wow, What an Amazing game. To start a Generation.

Can't wait for mod support/MP most of all. God its exciting.

Fun little social game, will be cool to have some more things added like minigames, player housing, ect.

Switch to F2P was the best decision.

AAA developers are really losing their shine. This game really brings the quality back to gaming. Do yourself a favor, buy it and enjoy!
