The Witcher 3, it's my first game in the Witcher franchise and I enjoyed this game wonderfully. It has a very rich and in-depth story where you can forge your own path and select your own outcomes. I owned this game for a long time and just never gotten to the point of finishing it until this year. It's an amazing game although not perfect it's damn near close enough.

pros: It has rich story where your decision impacts the story-line and your surroundings. The graphics at the time of writing this has aged well and the game still looks great (including the next-gen update). Some of the scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the cut scenes is nice. The voice acting is great and each character has their own personality. A great selection of swords, armor and even crafting grand-master gear is worth while. This is also one of the few games where the dlcs are an absolute must complete and gets better. Blood and Wine is one of the best looking and best story-lines dlcs I have played in fanatasy games in the wild, and it's location is near the size of the main area in the base game. The side quest in this game are a gem, I must admit even on equal to the main story.

Cons: While playing this game I encountered a-lot of bugs that didn't age well. The combat although it was cool dismembering npcs was very clunky and somewhat outdated. Combat wasn't difficulty but sometimes you would miss based on weird camera angles. Boss enemies could not be locked on if I remember making the combat feel more clunky. Some bugs would straight up crash the game forcing me to restart areas multiple times. When dismembering npcs they would have generic models for the heads and sometimes bodies, for example if you dismembered a bandit wearing a hood or rogue knight wearing a helmet, those items would disappear showing the same base npc heads. Where bugs like npc clipping and floaty items could really take you out of the immersion sometimes.

Conclusion: Regardless of the cons, many of the pros out weigh the cons. The story was deep and rich and the moral decision of choices made the game feel more than just selection chat bar. Overall I would give this game a 8/10 it would have 1 more point if mainly the constant bugs and crashes did not exist.

I completed the game the story is great however there are minor small bugs in the game still. This has to do with quest where you have to wait a day. Sometimes you wait multiple days in games and it still doesn't do anything. My advice is to let the game sit for real time hours. 8/10 game it was awesome still

I bought this game a couple of months ago. I tried really hard at first and I could not do it, I just could not get passed the long combat and it was my first crpg. I played other games like skyrim and morrowind before trying this game and it was completely different. After being fustrated for a while, I gave this game another final go. This time I was concentrated to actually put the role into rpg. I played my characters from their perspectives and through rping I found unique ways to dialogue and fights. Then I soon found myself immersed, being tactical with the combat and going through new zones and defeating characters I never imagined myself doing at the beginning of the story. The story is great, the combat is tedious but if you can get a feel for it, you have a potential to be op my friends. 10/10 game I played this year. The ending is so fresh compared to how most games end.

If you like bgs games you will like this. I’m a big elder scrolls fans. Morrowind is my favorite I never really truely got into to fallout 4 only finished the main quest for it, never got into oblivion too as much as I did morrowind or skyrim.

This game feels like a combination of fallout 4 and oblivion. It’s lot of fun and addicting I’ve already started ng+ and capped many hours in. It’s highly addicting and divisive. If you don’t like bgs games it’ll probs be no for you, if you enjoy bgs games. This might be close to their best one yet, it’s inching there, maybe in a few years it could be definitely the best bgs games.

Early Access Review
Beware, this game is in Alpha. Don't set your expectations high just yet, this game is getting a bunch of updates and the mods definitely make up for whatever is lacking. I hope this game continues to live. 20 dollar at first seemed really steep for me but I risked it. So far i have 30 hours worth of game play and im still playing it. If you want everything that games like civ offer right now it's not worth, if you see it as an investment for better content in the future. You should try it out.
