Elden Ring is one of those games that takes difficulty to a new level like other souls games but it feels rewarding. The game art style is amazing and the world is filled with lots of things to do and explore. All around after finally trying it out I can understand why this game got game of the year. It deserved this reward 100%. For people who like hard but rewarding games it's a must play game.

Just a scam

The game is still a WIP type of game but honestly so far the base they have is really good and fun. Yes the game still needs to get optimised, yes the servers can get strange, yes sometimes the enemies can get spongy and yes there is a lot of bugs. What I really like about the game is the complex health system both healing, getting shot, armour protection and even the elements on how your body reacts to the situations. The base health and stamina system is really well done and yes it's complex but good to understand. The gunplay (ignoring the bullet sponge enemies sometimes) feels really nice, the all around weapon handling including animations are very cool.

All around a very nice game that I am hoping will continue leading it's development as it's doing now.

Pretty scary that Blizzard thought it would be a good idea to make the hitboxes so broken that you can shoot near someone and you still hit them...

underrated game with an amazing storytelling.

First, I want to clarify things and say that Ready or Not is what many gamers were waiting for. I played the original Swat games that were developed by Sierra and Irrational Games and loved them. I can only say the same for Ready or Not.

Positives:

The game puts you on edge at all times. The details that every map offers, as well as the presentation with sounds, gunplay, storytelling, and many other things, make this game the best SWAT tactical game you will find on the market. Both with how the AI teammates work and how the game works in coop, it works well for both singleplayer and multiplayer. The developers are not scared to use reality as their art style in many ways. The only other game that gets close to feeling this realistic and scary is Six Days in Fallujah.

Negatives:

The biggest issue at the moment is that the game does not feel finished at all. Yes, the game is fully released now and does not sell itself as an Early Access game anymore. This means that the price of the game has gone up to €49.99 ($49.99). This does not feel like a finished product, and after playing it for only an hour (44 hours before 1.0), I had two major game-breaking bugs as well as multiple smaller issues.

PDA/Tablet not loading in a mission, making me have to close and open it multiple times

Ragdolls glitching out the map, not being able to mark them anymore (not being able to pass the mission)

Having to shoot a hostage and the gunman after the gunman was shot in the head that was holding the hostage, both of them froze, not being able to do anything with them. The only solution was to shoot them both in the head, making me fail the mission after the scoring.

These were bugs I ran into after trying out the first mission two times.

If you are a die-hard fan of the original SWAT games or just a gamer looking for a single-player or COOP tactical FPS, I would hold off on buying this game in its current state. Give it a little bit more time to get polished, and then buy it.

bullet sponge mess

It's a very fun game, if you are looking for a game that is just like Borderlands. I would say you probably will not enjoy it as much as someone going into the game not expecting it to be Borderlands.

I am not a fan of turn based games but honestly this game is on another level. It's sad that AAA developers charge full price for games that are not finished.

It's honestly a game that well deserves to be game of the year even doe it's only on PC.
