I really like the game and I wish it would be BETTER than what it is. But with no Forcefeedback support, only for wheel-centering, despite the developers claiming it has full Force Feedback support and minor bugs that should have been ironed out at least a year ago after its release, I find it hard to recommend it despite its fun parts - It has TrackIR support and driving and controlling a loader or forklift has never been done in ANY game before, as far as I know.

Once you start driving, which should be the most fun part, you'll notice lots of round-abouts and lots of winding and twisting roads and some of the "freeways" have very odd and non-realistric off-ramps that you could miss if you're not paying attention!

The game looks gorgeous and your driver actually bounces up and down in his seat when you look from 3rd person perspective at your driver as you drive over rough and bumpy terrain. Unfortunately, you'll soon notice the other cars you see driving around, have no driver behind the wheel, which takes away the immersion and reminds you that you're just in a videogame and not in a realistic computerised world where you can forget reality.

And the sound design is another sad story. Your vehicle's engines don't sound the way you would expect a car to sound. The sounds are very digital and again kills the immersion. And the other cars on the road? The majority don't even have any sounds! Sometimes it feels as though the developers have forgotten to even add sounds to the NPC vehicles.

Multiplayer
There's no text chat (crazy, huh?) and no voip but there's a "quick chat" system in which you press SHIFT and an appointed key to say stuff like "Let's go" and "Bye" but the bad news is, that half of these "quick chats" are bugged and don't even function and you can NOT rebind their keys neither! So you could be saying 'bye" but also switching on your wipers or hitting the horn at the same time too! Very intuitive!

These simply unpolished features have convinced me not to recommend this game despite it's fun to drive a forklift or a big loader for a minute or two. I would recommend everyone else to stick with Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator because most of the driving will be on a truck anyway. And not on a forklift! So you won't be missing much!

For the game to run PERFECTLY and at 60 frames per second on Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11 and in the future, Windows 12 Do this: Download xw_series_60FPS and xwing_ddraw_d3d11_1.5.14 and put the contents of each of these 2 folders (NOT the entire folder!) inside the XvT folder ... AND in the BalanceOfPower folder! And after that, DO NOT FORGET to Switch "3D Hardware ON" in the game's configuration menu!

Once you get the game running the way it should, the campaign is very interesting with in-game voices during missions and cutscenese and even the mission briefing and debriefing that unfolds the story as you progress. I found the story very engaging and there are some VERY interesting plots twists that tie nicely with the original Star Wars movies! You'll understand why we briefly see a new and different starfighters in Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi!

If you're a fan of the ORIGINAL Star Wars movies, you'll become a fan of this game. There's even a voice that sounds a lot like Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker! :D

After 2 years one would have expected the DEVELOPERS of the game to listen to players/customers and fix a well-known bug that only affects the mouse controls during the fusebox puzzle (and other puzzles like it!) Just search the internet and you'll see that the latest report is not even 6 months ago, as NEW players that use keyboard and mouse encounter this same problem! If it wasn't for this GAME-BREAKING bug - yes, it's game-breaking! I can't get passed that puzzle with the mouse behaving like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥!) - I would have recommened this game for anyone. But since the developers simply ignore the problem and didn't even TEST the game with mouse and keyboard, I say - SAVE YOURSELF FROM HOURS OF FRUSTRATION AND FORGET ABOUT THIS GAME! Trust me; you'll find more joy in any other game than this buggy crap!

This game feels a lot like a RTS (Real-Time-Strategy) game! You order your "fire team" to lay a supressing fire on the enemy while you (or your "assault team") flank them. But many times I find myself doing the flanking on my own while I order my 2 teams to pin the enemy down from 2 sides and keep them busy so I can attack them from another side. The story is a continuation of the Brothers In arms game series and has a semi-scary/horror moment near the end. And there's a fun easter egg hunt - Find the "Killroy was here" grafiti hidden on every map!
Multiplayer was never a thing - very rarely there were less than 10 people available to play. Unless you have some friends that wanna join you! The Multiplayer was about either: Team death match..and each team has at least 1 tank. Or capture the flag! Multiplayer was kinda weird because you can play it in 3rd person...Something we can't do in the singleplayer campaign, unless if you're driving a tank or you're on a Machinegun nest.
Still, the game is a must-have if you like the Brothers in Arms series. Because the maps in the singelplayer or more wide open and feel less 'trenchy" There are muliple ways to flank the enemy. In other words, you can replay each mission and try a different approach: You lay surpressing fire together with your soldiers then when the enemy is surpressed, you tell them where to go! But unfortunately, you'll be with your soldiers and even have to run back and forth to tell a squad to move up to a certain location! But this doesn't make the game bad...

WARNING: Play this OUTSTANDING game with a game controller or a gamepad! Unless you've remapped the Quick-Time-Event keys near each other and you have strong muscle memory for instant finger reflexes!

Very few games make me CRY as an adult! It has some very emotional scenes right within the first hour of gameplay with its dramatic music that adds more spice and makes it even harder to hide your tears. (that is, if you're a empathetic person by nature!) And you'll encounter more of these type of scenes as you continue to play! The story is high-class and as you play, it feels like you're in an interactive movie! Great graphics, nice voice-acting and realistic dialogues. You quickly get to know and care for the main characters and although the story, after a few play-throughs, may not end as you expected or wanted, its superb replayability allows you to attempt to have the "perfect" ending!

I recommend Detroit: Become Human because of its GREAT story, which, when replayed, will change, depending on the choices you made and failed (or successful!) Quick-Time-Events!

Now that is has FULL TrackIR (and it also supports FaceTrack) support, I've been having a BLAST (pun intended!) with this arcadey (It's not fully realistic because you can carry hundreds of missles per flight and the way the aircraft behave or less than realistic!) flight combat game, which is set hundreds of years in the future after World War 3! So, I've been using my head-tracking device (TrackIR) to look around while inside the cockpit and my Logitech joystick to control the aircraft which makes me feel like a (simulated/arcade) combat pilot! With trackIR the game feels like a (fake) VR setup, but you get to move your virtual head inside the game and look closer to the controls and panels and dials while inside the cockpit and you have easier area awareness by simply looking around, moving your real-life head! No need to use the HAT or D-PAD buttons on your joystick or gamepad/controller to look around. Or not even the mouse is needed to look around! Only problem is setting the TrackIR was a kind of hassle because of the default mouse settings are used to control your views from inside the cockpit. TIP - If you have TrackIR and a gamepad/joystick/controller start deleting all assigned mouse axes and controls in the game! I figured this out about half an hour later after struggling to stop having the mouse control/interfering my TrackIR head movements.

TrackIR stuff aside and back to the game review - The gameplay has the same feeling like the Ace Combat series - You start with weak aircraft and as you progress in the story, you get to purchase new jetfighters. And during the combat you hear chatter of your wingmen (who occasionally destroy hostile targets on their own) and your character also has some minor comments of his own ("Fox 2", "In range for guns, firing," etc.) and the campaign is not difficult to beat...even on HARD difficulty. (I don't think I'm that skilled!)

Only gripe: the aircraft don't seem to suffer so much of drag, so the enemy aircraft (and yours!) rarely use "slow tactics" and immelman, and loops and other real-life tactics - I repeat: it's an arcade flight shooter. And a fun one too! You get to blow dozens of ground targets (tanks, anti-aircraft guns and Surface To Air Missles aka: SAMS and ships) and in the air a few hostile helicopters that carry anti-aircraft missles and ofcourse there are enemy jets, ofcourse and those HUGE AWACS and air-fortresses that carry huge AAA and SAMS - remember it's also a sci-fi game!
Jet types you'll fly (and probably encounter) are the Vietnam War jets (F-4 Phantoms and the Russian counterparts) And F-16s and F-15 and I assume but can not confirm even Generation 5 jets (F22, F35 and Su 35 And SU Felon) will be in the game

But still I would recommend Project Wingman because it's a FUN game and using VR (or any head-tracking device) ads a little more immersion and adrenaline together with the constant action and exciting music and wingmen chatter during combat. Only realism purists would not like this GAME! But hey, games are meant to be fun, right?

Reasons why THIS is my favourite game (It stole the Left 4 Dead series place!) Not in a aparticular order:
1 - As a Survivor: The thrills and adrenaline of sneaking and outsmarting the Killer 2 - The heartbeat and music intensifies when the killer is nearby...and also during chases! 3 - The AWSEOME feeling of accomplishment after successfully rescuing someone, or evading the killer (the killer lost track of you!), making it safely out of the Hunting grounds (escape through the gates!) 4 - Reaching raNK 1 (or as high as possible) 5 - I love it that your rank gets reset, slightly, so you can attempt once more to reach that high rank...or higher! 6 -As a killer: Get revenge on those tea-bagging survivors 7 - The developers keep adding more maps and killers and survivors and perks and add ons and scoring features. This keeps the game fresh! It never feels stale! So, there you go! :D

Better than Left 4 Dead 1 because of the added games: Mutations, Scavenge and also Versus Realism, in which the Survivors can't see each other through walls. But the Special Infected do! This gives the Special Infected an advantage to win and the Survivors a harder challenge on a realistic way to win versus rounds!

And more new features such as: Melee weapons (to kill those zombies with one hit: that include: Baseball bats, frying pans and more). Sometimes players can find Defibrillators, with which which can help you revive killed Survivors, because once dead, a Survivor remains dead in Versus mode and Campaign Mode. (no more finding survivors behind locked doors!)

And in addition of the Boomers, Smoker and Hunters there are now 3 additional Special Infected: The Jockey, Spitter and the Tank's little brother, the Charger. And in Left 4 Dead 2, the Witch walks around and you'll have to avoid walking into her by accident...or through panick as you try to avoid the other Special Infected!

So, because of these welcome additions L4D2 is more fun than L4D1!
