Early Access Review
**Since the PvE update, this game is now "for me", still some graphical hurdles at times, but it's a blast!

Insanely fun game!
Took a few minutes to start understanding the controls and mechanics, and several hours later I'm still learning new things.
Co-Op is very fun in this game, a lot of people love to speedrun through levels but I like being able to take it slow and steady.

Played this game when it first came out on the PS2, loved it then and love it now.
Being able to skip cutscenes is nice because *back in my day* you had to sit through them if you had to restart.
Was very fun to 100% it over the weekend.
Keen to try out the engine tool to create new levels.

I've had an insane amount of fun playing this game, I had very little knowledge of the Monster Hunter games prior to picking up this game (maybe an hour with one of the PSP versions).
It's a little slow at the beginning, however the game does a very good job of teaching you some mechanics with an in-game menu to read previous tips.

There is a LOT of grinding in this game, and that's the fun of it. Every large monster you face is like a boss fight. They each have their own move sets, behaviours, strengths / weaknesses / resistances AND their own unique crafting materials to make new armours / weapons and upgrade existing gear.

While there was an announcement for no more content, I know that the monster hunter community still plays old titles relentlessly and I'm planning on playing until I have at least 1000 hours put into this game just because of how damn fun the combat and world design is.
