It pains me to do this but I cannot currently recommend this game in its current state.

While the gameplay and the heists are solid, the game is fundamentally broken by having an always online system in place which meant for me and the majority of people who bought this game at launch are left with a literal unplayable game as the servers have been down. The lack of a solo mode and even lag when trying to play alone is present. As for weapons and customisation I do believe it is a general step back from Payday 2 with fewer content (This will come with time).

Always online is a huge mistake.
