Absolutely amazing game with fun rogue-lite game play along with base/community management. Unlike most rogue-lite styles you can choose your difficulty which is nice for people who don't want to deal with as much fight, die, repeat mechanics, making it for a fun game for anyone on all levels. The art style is perfect with a cute appearance with dark tones. The base game is a pretty fair price for what this offers but seems to go on sale often enough with the new updates and the DLC so far is cosmetic so it doesn't take away from the game if you don't buy it.

I don't know what they did in the latest updates, but having consistent close-outs of the game as I'm loading into a match/mid-match is annoying. Especially since you can't rejoin and get a timeout after the match ended. I really was enjoying this game but honestly there's so much more other games out there (Overwatch2) that I'd much rather play... Please fix your game...

This game is broken beyond belief, even though its free to play its not worth playing.... Trying to enjoy playing with a friend but we keep getting bot lobbies where theres spamming, instant headshots, votekicking us and also copying our steam names. It says that the game is anti-cheat protected but that's obviously a lie... Fix this game, i know its an older title but it is fun to play, minus the bots.

For those who are considering getting this, turn your brightness up to max first thing...
In other words, I overall enjoyed the story and the adventure through this game, it has that feeling of emptiness that places get when no one is around. The game however is super dark and i mean literally cant see at all in some places. But going back to the story aspect, like i mentioned, i enjoyed it but their are some moments that lost me and one was definitely an important part to the story near the end with a certain item not being visible and i was just lost. With that all together i would give this a neutral recommendation but will still thumbs up it because it does have its plus sides.

Absolutely loved the first one and enjoyed the demo of 2 which sold me on buying it. Tells a chilling and dark story with no words said and the environment and music feels perfect throughout. If you're a fan of the art style of Tim Burton and want something spooky and creepy but not downright terrifying, this is for you!

Amazing 3rd person horror game with focus on a mix of puzzles, stealth and above all story. This is definitely one of my favorite horror games i've ever played, having good atmosphere, jumpscares and chases.

Just know that this game really doesn't focus on combat at all, except in a short part so if you're looking for a game that will scare you but you can fight, this isn't it, if you're looking for a game that will spook you leaving you to run and hide, then yes this is the one you're looking for.

In conclusion though i loved this game from start to finish, i may have had to reset my game cause of a graphical glitch (don't really have a super strong comp but still decent on middle settings) but other than that its totally worth picking up and playing!

Early Access Review
Honestly a really awesome rogue-like with a variety of skulls (heros) with different powers and abilities and other variations. For current price (17.99) absolutely worth the cost and i'm looking forward to spending countless hours on this game. Challenging of course but that's what make it good as it'll be trial after trial but the mix up of levels and powers makes it exciting to see what you'll get that time!

Awesome game, Devolverland Expo sold me on this. You get to play as the monster destroying and eating everything in your path. But it wont be too easy as they will fight back with their own weapons. With good progression throughout and side upgrades to find, i feel like you would enjoy this game if you enjoy eating all who get in your way!

Alright, let me start off by saying this... Within moments it became one of my new favorite games!

I just recently bought this game, it's appearance and play style can be compared to that of Don't Starve, another game in which that i've played. This is a fairly good sized review but it's worth it if you consider to know more before you buy.

Assuming all possibilities i started it up, you start on a ship, a delivery ship in fact and play as the character Flux, someone whos appearance is like deadpools but in a goofy/ cute kind of style, and you have your robot Juicebox, who believe it or not looks like a robotic juicebox, and you're currently in progress of delivering several packages to it's destination until you are visited by this just plum like floating head alien Hewgodooko, who at first doesn't seem that bad while asking for an energy source until Flux and Juicebox tells him that its on the ship but in order to get it it would result in blowing up the ship. So he then shoots your ship with a giant laser, blows it up and takes what he needed leaving you (flux) and Juicebox to stumble off of the ship, while along your way to get off you learn basic combat knowledge and health maintance which again is similar to that of Don't Starve, but it has its own special touch to it but i'll tell you more about that in a bit.

So you make it into an escape pod and go to the planet below where you "Crashland" *nudge* *nudge* and start to explore, and that's where you learn the collecting/crafting mechanics. Very simple to do and kind of fun, you start getting neccessities to make what you need to survive i.e saws, armors, weapons, etc. All doing so with an infinite and self maintaining inventory system where it'll make crafting super easy. Now on to the enemies, the first actual creature/animal you meet is a cute donkey/cow like creature with one leg by the name of Wompit, one of the many creatures that you'll come to meet and learn about along the way with different appearances and strengths. Now combat system, again I'll relate it back to Don't Starve and how its point, click, attack but what seperates is how the enemies react to it, each creature and being has its own attack, I'll explain the wompit's; it's attack is a stomp creating a circle of splash damage to those within reach, now when an enemy attacks it'll create a blue colored highlight (circle, line, line then circle) and when it goes on the attack that path/highlight will turn red, giving you a chance to dodge that attack and deal damage at the same time which honestly takes a bit to get down especially when no two different animal species attacks are the same, so watch out!

On top of everything else there's quest's and villagers that you can help and work with and complete to get extra stuff.

For my rating of this I would flat out give it a 10/10 for at this point i've only played 5-ish hours but yet have merely scratched the surface of that which is Crashlands. I hope that my review was helpful to all those who eye gaze at this game and like me, choose to give it a shot :) you have my honest word when i say it's worth every penny, enjoy!

Tiny brains is a geniusly well put together game where you can either collaberate with friends for hours on end or tease your own brain.

It's good to take a break from the occasional shoot em' up games that you see every day, something to work your brain while having some good laughs as well. If you let the appearance of it at first fool you, you should take another glance at it and when you find it on sale (not saying it's worth its original price) pick it up and try it out sometime :) i promise you will not be dissapointed.
