While the game is improving, it has now released it's third DLC pack while being an early access title. Private servers are planned to be only available through Studio 397 that you have to pay to host.

They so badly want to make this into iRacing's business model while still charging 100+ dollars for entry.

Update 12/9/22:

The game has received several patches and for the most part the stuttering has disappeared. Performance has gotten a little better as well. Graphics set to max with raytracing set to medium got me about 80FPS now on a 3080 Ti.

Took me roughly 9 hours to complete the game, which is a little short, but around the same time it took to complete the first Dead Space game. Otherwise the story is about a solid 7/10. The environment is a 10/10 for me. Melee combat is still it's largest drawback as pretty much all enemies are dealt with the same way with their "dodge-dodge-attack" pattern.

I'll finally give this a positive review as the performance was my biggest concern.

Is good

Great port, and great story so far

VOID has brought back the great memories of playing SWAT. It's still essentially an Alpha, so expect some bugs. But so far this is a great, promising looking title.

Only thing to be weary of is for a bit it seemed like this game was abandonware, there was no updates for nearly a year. However now, the developers have been actively engaged with the community pushing several small updates every day. Let's hope that trend continues.
